Honestly, we completely deserved this. We were absolutely shocking. Italy deserved to beat us by 2 or three goals in normal time, penalties should've never even been a factor. Our fanbase is utterly shit, yet we always talk about hooligans from other countries. We have an incredibly toxic football culture, and have a tendency to be incredibly delusional about how good we are. Everyone else across Europe wanted us to crash and burn, and I honestly can't blame them.
Well done to Italy, they played the best football out of any team throughout this tournament, and deserved this win a lot more than we did. Donnaruma was immense all the way through, and seems to have cemented himself as the guy who will dominate the footballing world as a goalkeeper for many years.
