I was never interested in idols or girl groups at all, but when I happened to see their performance on youtube, I was hooked.
Of course, there are many fans who watch and support them as an idol or girl group, but I genuinely liked them because I thought they were great as artists.
The video production and concept production team is top-notch and has a unique sense of style.
I was never bored following their work. I don't think you will ever regret supporting them.
The dance practice fixed version for Left Right is literally my favourite dance practice ever!!!! Now you can get to the MOVE, VOX and TAPE videos and truly understand the greatness of XG!!!!
You seriously need to watch XGs legendary U.S. debut HITC NY performance. Where you will witness 13,000+ fans singing Left Right & Shooting Star in unison. You will get chills from the experience
XG is just that group. They just are. My bias situation with them is so confusing… they all slay me.
Since you talked about it in the last video, just wanted to say that you shouldn't feel bad for calling XG k-pop. Jennie said it herself, k-pop is not a particular genre or even just songs sung in Korean. It is about the training process and lifestyle of an idol, these were cultivated in Korea but not exclusive to the country or Koreans. That's why k-pop can sound like a million different things and be sung in english, japanese, etc. by people of any ethnicity. XG worked their asses off under k-pop vet Simon, and went through the traditional k-pop idol training process. So yes, they are releasing some the best and freshest k-pop in the industry :D

This is my SOTY. They perfectly capture the late 90s/early 00s era (which is when I became a teen!) so anything that sounds like Aaliyah, TLC, early Destiny’s Child, Brandy etc is just amazing to me. And the fact that they are just as good as a dance crew is the icing on the cake. I love them so much ❤

Going to date myself born in 91 and the M/V gave me early 2000's vibes of Aaliyah, Destiny's child, Missy Elliot's Supa Dupa Fly Fish eye lens camera, and gave me severe nostalgia. The fits were amazing, the choreography was nothing less than amazing. They're on the rise as the IT girl group!
