What is the problem with the Latin mass? I was baptized with the rite and it’s beautiful. Young people love it 😍
We can only draw the conclusion that TLM is too Christ-centered - that the prayers within the traditional frame are too strong to be overridden by the evil humanist agenda.
@@MsDormyAgreed. To add to that, my filipino relatives told me that its too oppressive, too colonial, and too racist. Basically, as my grandmother told me that it’s a white people religion that needs to be suppressed. They were not fans of Catholicism that Spain has brought to their land. Not to be mean but most of my relatives are from the aging group of boomer Catholics that do not like Tradition or Catholicism from antiquity. They prefer a diversified/ Cafeteria type of Catholic that is non judgmental. So sad that all my relatives are brainwashed so badly by the evil human agenda. It’s the lack of knowledge especially from poor countries that was once under the Spanish empire. My parents and I will gladly embrace the authenticity of Catholicism with TLM, Church Teaching, Catholic Doctrine, Church Fathers, Saints, etc. even if it means my relatives will persecute us. @@marvinaloysuis5827My Filipino in-laws who are over 75 are Catholic. Those 40-75 worship James Martin. Those under 40 have no religion. I haven’t heard any of them dismiss it based on colonialism, but all of my in-laws are wannabe Americans. My grandmother-in-law is surely rolling in her grave.
@@satismith1872Thanks for sharing. I think it depends on their experiences growing up in the Philippines along with their transition and encounter of Catholicism in the US. My relatives are interesting in their comment. Wow that is true what you mentioned. Most of my relatives are around the 40-75 age range. The 75 and above that is true. Catholic indeed. Very few left of older grandparents around that age range still cling to Catholicism. The rest 40 years and below is correct. All what is left is prayers just like Saint Monica and strive to be a saint by living out the Sacramental Life. I will pray for your family that you mentioned. Thank you and God Bless!

On a connected note...the trailer for the new "Jesus Thirsts" film has several scenes of the Priests facing the people during the Consecration. This totally undermines the theology behind the Sacrificial nature of the Mass - which then actually diminishes belief in the Real Presence.

The material and formal unity of a Liturgical Rite (just not the one that we, who love the Old Order forms, want to get involved with - for readily observable reasons), i.e. a now Latinless New Order for the Latin Rite in the Roman Communion. As for the Old Order, e.g. what we like to call the Traditional Latin Mass (what is now, virtually at least, the only [ permissible and ordinary ] Latin Order in the Latin Rite), well, it is a return to the format that prevailed circe 1968-1988 CE = taking what may be had, allowing the Holy Ghost to do His job - with minimal interference from us, and turning a grudged loophole into a rip-snorting success (again). Also known as .. the progressive Progressivists' living nightmare .. a genuinely submissive (not blind) obedient witness to the Faith (the living faith, the saving faith: Sacred Tradition, the real thing, not one's own little opinion of it).
Keep the Faith; tell the truth, shame the devil, let the demons shriek.

Let’s be honest, - it is a whole rejection of Vatican II. The Last Supper was celebrated in Aramaic - do we want to return to that “traditional Mass”?

You should look up what the TLM was used to do to Eastern Catholics in the USA and how Eastern Orthodoxy began in this country. Long before the Novus Ordo happened.
I can't say I am so favorable to this generation being saddled with TC, but God avenges Himself and the poor who are oppressed. Hebrew Scriptures type poetic irony. There is always a temporal punishment that is due sin, and schism and the cause of schism (Liturgical-attachment idolatry + pride + oppression) deserved it.
Archbishop Fulton Sheen tried to work to heal that as a Bi-Ritual Bishop.
We can stop whining. The Pontiff even pulled back a bit and self-reflected about TC's excessiveness.
And TLM communities seem to draw in some real weird shady characters, including white nationalists/racists who trash-talk confirmed Saints (blaspheming God in His Works).
