I'm so glad she made them do that because it concluded so well and honestly sealed their adorable relationship for season 3. She's right, I would have been so pissed if they didn't because it truly matured them as a couple and as kids as they move to high school and considering they were forced to mature with the upside down and shit and then torn from each other it perfectly summed up the true essence of their relationship being finalised and it gave that sense of calmness after being separated and now reunited.
Though they are pretended that they don't like each other, just frnd, they have a strong bond forever. I knew it😁
