- Back out there for our second commercial trip, this time just overnight. Finally seeing the Goldband fire like I know they can. I tried to set up the vid this week so I hope you enjoy. I've decided to start using sone decent music and in turn forfeiting ad revenue, but I hope you enjoy it. Foo Fighters this week, but open for subjections for the next one. Hopefully bring some new angles and better footage to the next vid as the trip should not be as rushed.
Good to see the skip finally having a fish👍👍
good to see someone actually look after their catch, quick brain spike and iced properly. good work keep it up
Amazing Fishing and Super Fish
Cheers
Solid effort Adam & Brock. Killed it
Love the content. Is the pink snapper avoiding a quota thing or price? Is there any chance you could let us know how much you are getting a kilo? I totally understand if that’s info you don’t want to share but I feel like it’d make the vids even more engaging. Keep up the good work.
Yeh Pink snapper are seperate in our quota. They can only make up about 15% of then quota I hold. They are ok money, but juts don't want to catch too many or we will end up having to throw them back later in the season if we get too many now. Most of the fish we catch go for in the ballpark of $8-$14kg whole. Goldband being the best money generally. But all depends on markets and supply. There was a fair bit of fish around at the moment so most of our fish went the lower end of that this trip. But cheers for input, gonna try and include a bit more info in coming videos.
awesome Adam, some nice Goldbands
Cheers
I’ve never done well deep bottom fishing after dark, unless targeting oilfish or gemfish(who bite everything) seem to just lose a lot of gear. An occasional ruby when oil fishing.
Yeh haven't done a whole lot myself to be honest. But dose'nt seem to be a huge difference to day time form what I have done. Normally get a good sunset bite, but other than that the come on and off the bite just like days.
Nice work seeing those hooks coming up full😊, what main line r u running on the Alveys?
It sure was. mono 2mm main line and 3mm for the snood.
any reason for stacking the fish upside down? or just personal preference?
To be honest, it's just the way I've seen it done. But I can assume a few reasons. It's better the fish weight sitting on solid dorsal as apposed to sitting and rubbing on belly, no dorsal spike sticking up to get you when you unpack them. and I reckon they pack easier that way.
@@SeaforceCoralBay heard it also stops/slows gut/stomach juices draining out through the catch
@@SeaforceCoralBaycopy that, makes sense to me. love your vids mate, keep em coming!
great bag mate
Cheers
Hi Adam does this mean you stop charter fishing and have you tried country and Western music
Just taking a break from charters while for a moth or 2, back into them next season. Not really a fan of c/w to be honest, but might give it a go one day. Cheers
@@SeaforceCoralBay well done again 500kg next time
Set up a table to put the mattresses and all your shark clips on, to limit having to bend over so much
yep, plan to add a second lower esky to do this job. Cheers
Fuckin sick
I have watched all your videos and I would rather not have the music and listen to you vlogging
Your a yes voter ain't you?😂
