they were right around 60 +/- when they did their reunion concert "Celebration Day" at the London 02 arena in late 2007 and they brought the house down. That concert holds the Guinness World Record for the highest requests for tickets with over 20 million. They literally sold out in minutes.

You ‘youngsters’ missed so much (live) music that us ‘oldies’ got to enjoy!! That guy.. is Robert Plant (singer) still touring some on his own, some with other entertainers (Alison Krauss). Zep was HUGE from late 60s through 1980, when their drummer, John Bonham, died. The remaining band played live with Jason Bonham (John’s son) on the drums in 2007; concert still holds the #1 spot for largest requests for tickets.. 20 million people requested tickets to see them live one more time!! Guitarist is Jimmy Page.. he’s one of the top guitarists alive today.. and ever!! John Paul Jones is on bass and keys… he could play just about anything… they steamrolled the world during most of the 70s. BTW 2 of the surviving members of Queen (Roger Taylor/drums, and Brian May/guitar) are still touring and playing live.. with Adam Lambert as their front-man, replacing Freddie Mercury who died in 1991. QAL is every much as good as they were in their heyday… and still selling out stadiums (including MSG) worldwide!! Thank you for your reaction.. always enjoyable!

April 27th, !977. Section 110, Row H, Seat #8, was mine. For those unfamiliar with that date, it is the Legendary famous,
DESTROYER Show. A true Soundboard recording. Full Live show recorded in Cleveland, Ohio at the Richfield Coliseum. Soon to be 46 years ago, I remember it like yesterday. I am still that late teen punk of the 70's. Don't knock us old Boomers. We still rock and roll and kick ass too. Our music kept us YOUNG. Don't forget that sonny boy. Like your reactions. “That guy” who “looks so 70’s” is Robert Plant. I’m not making this up: He was known as “The Golden God” of Rock. He created that frontman stage persona of that time….and created the mold for rock and metal frontmen who came after him. You can place him in the 70’s because all the other rock bands of that time copied him. I a,so give a nod to Roger Daltry of The Who, but he had a more “punk” style……long before punk existed.

MD…Check out Zeppelin’s Song “Nobody’s Fault But Mine”, a hidden gem from their 7th studio album “Presence”, released in 1975, this album didn’t receive much critical acclaim… The song is very bluesy, with a terrific Harmonica solo by Robert Plant, Jimmy Page doesn’t disappoint, and it has a hard driving drum beat from Bonzo…You won’t be disappointed…Good Luck Jjh

Drummer God: John Bonham, sadly gone from this world (RIP)
...and Darlin', since I've had long hair for most of my life, ans grew up in the 70's and 80's, I can promise you, that if you grow out your hair similar to Robert's, yours will probably look better. At least to your shoulders and perhaps 2-3 inches longer. 😀👍💋💋
Also, even though LZ is GREAT live, the studio version of this tune is actually better. Robert was known for singing way WAY off key during live performances.

Led Zep sold out MSG 12 times. Everywhere they went, literally anywhere in the world, they sold out all their shows. Jimmy Page has said they couldn't accommodate everyone that wanted to see them. No matter how many shows they played. Just to give you an idea of how popular they were..... when they played Knebworth for 2 nights in 1979, attendance the first night was 210,000 and the next night 180,000. So I can safely say there is no band that will ever come close to Zep.
