    wow thank you!
i've picked up an accoustic guitar last year (13 month now) and had the "fortune" to be stuck in quarantene the 3rd time right now (european here) i've played a ton, have a friend thats played for 30 years that teaches me some. we learn a lot of classical guitar. BUT this is the very first song i can play all way trough, altought obviously still need loads of practice. i love pink floyd, holds loads of great memories
you Sir are a awesome teacher! i will find another song to get stuck in once i feel this one works for me. again, thank you very much!

That’s great to hear! Glad the guitar has been a friend during the quarantines. I can relate to that! And I’m very happy to hear that my lesson has helped. Thanks

Fantastic lesson and awesome fingerstyle song to learn. Pink Floyd songs are so melodic, it makes them so rewarding to learn. Loving the Pink Floyd lessons - been a Floyd fan since 1982!

@@MTGuitar Got the parts memorized, thank you!
I added in the extended part where he hangs out in the fingerpicking pattern with the extra thumb rhythm because I got ocd about it, and I kept going there while learning it. (It's not perfect. I wing it by how i'm remembering it right now, after confirming I wasn't crazy, and it seems to work out some of the time. Not super important either way.)
I'm having issues getting the timing right with the first walkdown. The last note is getting squeezed in or something. I really don't know what's happening .. It needs work though.
The end is a bunch of fun getting to the last chord. My 'roll' needs work to sound like the recording... I have no idea what my garbage playing evolved into, but what was a roll, I guess, evolved into something that probably isn't a roll anymore, or something. I honestly don't know what i'm doing. It came from trying to figure out alternatives to swinging my arm around for strumming and making ukulele sound bigger.
I am going to hopefully record this today so I can look at improvements and what I need to focus on working on most. 👍 I might bug you about that walkdown part if I can't get it sorted out.

Hey Becky, just saw this sorry I missed it. Also I didn’t get an email from you I think you mentioned in a recent comment that some of your emails weren’t going through? Anyway I really enjoyed your recording of this and I would like to help you with that roll thing you mentioned if you would still like
