I just want it here in the UK. Especially as they didn't replace ESPN Player when they closed it down last year. I would be very surprised if they haven't rolled ESPN on Disney+ in the UK and Ireland by January 2026. Though now they've announced the date for the US, I expect a rollout international would soon follow.
Narrator: WAIT A MINUTE ✋️!!!! First, Disney+ and Hulu are now merged and became "Hulu on Disney+"!!! And now, after 100 Years of Disney Animation and the Walt Disney Company has finally come to an end and since it was the 5th anniversary celebration of the launch of Disney+, Disney+ and ESPN are gonna be a merged and became "ESPN on Disney+" in next month for the United States? Well, that's a good one!!! Because a new hub for ESPN are headed into a new home of Disney+, just like Hulu content!!! Right?
This is probably gonna end up becoming a bad thing, though, especially for the employees who run this stuff. I get why they're doing this but at the same time. I feel like this is probably going to end become bad for. A lot of the people who work for this kind of stuff. An asphalt hulu itself I still feel like they've better off just selling that all
What they fairly badly need to address with ESPN On Disney+: they need to provide a way to (probably for a limited rewatch time) provide a way to watch complete recent games which you missed and/or didn’t get completely recorded on first airing.
That’s definitely a big deal for me because I like to watch my out of market hockey games on ESPN plus and if that section comes into Disney+ then I’m definitely gonna watch it on its new home. Hell it’ll be a new home for the college football playoff season and by the way go buckeyes
I saw there’s a new trailer for Beatles ‘64. Looks pretty good overall I have to say. Gives me N64 vibes too. That number is particular was so common at one point too wasn’t it?
So when you say hub it sounds like you still need to have a paid subscription just like Hulu when they placed their hub on Disney+ about a year ago. Currently I have a Disney+, Hulu and Max and don’t want ESPN.🤨
As long as it a add in the uk I do not want to spend a extra £15 for sports as I would bearly watch them My team Bristol Rovers are a mid level league 1 we would hardly be there
Great if you're American, but if you're outside of the U.S., this is just another example of how Disney only really gives a dam about Americans when it comes down to the nitty gritty they are well and truly showing their colours now If your outside of America, you're getting royalty shafted buy Disney big time I cant wate till I am able unsubsribe.
It's much more complicated that that really, since ESPN is locked into a deal in Canada and Australi, so that's a restriction and in the UK, lots of the sports got licensed out temporarily to SKY. I suspect it'll get there eventually
I love sports and this is a huge thing I can't wait for
Counting down to December 4th

I think it'll come, especially with them getting global rights to some NBA games recently
@ tbh that’s what I would be very surprised if they haven’t rolled it out in the UK by January 2026

Bit of both, you'll get some espn content but most of it will need a ESPN+ sub like Hulu
As long as it a add in the uk
