Yes, they are, but a military uniform doesn't guarantee a good, decent person. It is tragic, but evil can exist in any profession. A lot of the assaults have been investigated and exposed by the media. Hopefully, it has improved. 🙏
As far as the metaphor?🤔 Sometimes one is so eager(hungry) to solve a case(eat) that what one thinks looks good(vine leaves) may not be the right choice at that time. Any ideas?

Yes but most victims don’t come forward after the assault and in some cases I’ve heard there’s hardly an investigation done for those who do
