Barber and Author Vernon Jackson specializes in cutting children with a range of special needs. He prefers to refer to them as “Gifted” at a event he calls his “Gifted” event! Where he goes to work on his day off one Monday a month and families get there Childrens haircut for free that are sponsored by donations from the community.

Today I got so overwhelmed trying to find a barber to cut my sons hair that I said well I should open a barber shop for special needs kids or kids that have a hard time getting there hair cut ! THIS just motivated me 10x more !!!!!!!

10 years ago i met the 2 children who happily call me dad its a hard road there both special needs ans getting a hair cut for my oldest was always a nightmare we ended up doing it regularly at home to get him use to the noise the sensation of the clippers as well as sitting in one spot it took a few months of doing it weekly before he was able to do it once a month we have made it a boys day theme for haircuts he is 15 and absolutely loves his boys day its a lot of strength, patience, and passion i tip my hat to you and keep doing the lords work for those in need
