Thank you, for many years now there has been a restaurant (Thai Kitchen) in the next city over where I end up for work conferences, we always go there for lunch as their food is amazing and I've always gotten the same dish (garlic chicken). I'm about 90% sure our fried garlic is the one thing I've been trying to figure out for years, I'll definitely be trying it this week.

Hello Pai! Thanks for this recipe. It is always my go to dish when i go to Thailand (only 2nd to seafood tomyum though.haha). If it is not too much to ask, would appreciate if you can post the recipe's ingredients and measurements in the description so it is more easy to prepare. Khob khun kha makmak :)

I cooked this dish today along with sticky rice and it turned out delicious. I had marinated the chicken overnight so when I cooked it, it made a thick sauce that I cooked down. Full of flavor. Next time I will use beef or shrimp. The fried garlic made a sweet, crunchiness on top of the chicken. Winner dish.

I made this last night and it turned out excellent. My son, who is not easy to impress, even said it was really good. I did add some green bell pepper and green onion to it as I cooked it, which turned out great. My biggest pointer is to be patient while cooking the garlic, go low and slow.

Me and My mom Cooked this yesterday. and it Turned out Great. alot of my Friends loved it! But we used a Whole Chicken instead. and we Added a Few more tsp of the Sauces. since it was a Whole Chicken. it turned out darker. but it was still good! and Since it was a Whole Chicken. it Released alot more Sauce then Expected. so We Just Told everyone. that they can put the Sauce on top of rice Or just Leave it out. But still! It Turned out Great and i love the dish!

Dear Pailin, just made the dish today. So simple, but sooooo delicious. As a side, I added Prik Nam Pla and Nam Jim Jeaw, which - in my opinion - enhances the taste as an additional variety. The chicken was served with Jasmin rice. Thanks a lot for this recipe. Greets.

This is such a tasty recipe and I make it every couple weeks. The best thing about this was learning to make crispy fried garlic. The garlic oil is wonderful when brushed onto a steak with a dash of Golden Mountain sauce before grilling too!

I just used this recipe today! I live in Chiang Mai, and I used everything you described except for the oyster sauce and the cilantro ( my husband doesn't like cilantro). I used cucumber slices to scoop it up with and I added some chilies too. It was delicious! Thank you for the amazing recipe!

I found your video from asking about the best Thai garlic chicken recipe on FB. I changed a few things but it was amazing! Used 4 breasts, no mountain sauce subbed soy, doubled the rest of sauces and added a tbs of chili garlic sauce. Used one whole garlic and both green onion and cilantro. Added broccoli and cooked up some rice as well. I’m in heaven, thank you!

I made this the other day hoping to surpass a local place's garlic chicken stir fry. I prepared it in a similar way to how they do and substituted about half the meat with oyster mushrooms and fresh water chestnuts. It came out great! Your recipe was the definite winner :)

Really delicious, surprising rewarding for so little fuss and effort and very different. The crispy garlic is much more than a garnish, more a delightful, essential part that adds disproportionaly to the experience. I did treble the pepper. Many thanks Pai.
