    I wrote you a few times before, thanks for the info. I've used a foredom before. But I want to get a chainsaw and want to be sure I don't buy the WRONG chain saw. I can't find the one you're using. Can you recommend a good one. I have a few items like grinders and die grinders. Geez these things cost a fortune. By the way I love your videos, You really build up a lot of confidence for me. Not all my TV's are signed in but you've inspired me. I can't find a saw with a narrow tip like yours.

      Hi there, I suggest a stihl Ms 170 chainsaw with a (.050 gauge) 12-inch stihl bar, You will need to change the sproket in the saw to a 1/4 pitch sproket so it works with the bar and chain

    • @CarvingFusion
      @CarvingFusion  Год назад +1

      And thank you for the kind words, That set up is the best and cheapest and I suggest it all the time, if you go into a stihl dealer they will tell you the price, if they say the carving bars are on back order and you want to buy it order it and it will show up sooner then they say it will, u won't get it if u don't order it, I think that set up will cost you about 450- 550

    • @CarvingFusion

      12 inch 1/4 pitch .50 guage stihl carving bar

      @@CarvingFusion Hate to keep bugging you but I consider you the expert. What do you think of the MSA 200 C-B Battery operated saw. It takes the bigger battery AP series, but it has a 1/4 pitch series sprocket. All I have to do is slap on the dime tip bar and chain then I have a saw for detail and hogging. Let alone the Bigger battery has more power and you can slap that battery to go to an even bigger model. The AP series battery also has throttle control. Just looking at all the options. I know it costs more but it's quieter. Once I plop money down they can commit me.

    • @CarvingFusion
      @CarvingFusion  Год назад

      @@LJRamos111 to each there own but I'm happy with the 140 as it's alot lighter for detailing

    Hey I did a "AL500 vs AL101" battery charging time comparison with 3 brand new AK30 batteries out of the box. Everything was new out of box. All three batteries had 1 of 4 lights lit upon removing from pkg. It only took 30-minutes to charge on the fast AL500 charger while it took 2-hours to charge on the standard AL101 charger. So you can charge 4 batteries in the time to charge one. Time is money! THANK YOU!! Also returned my Husqvarna for the Stihl 140c. Thanks again for all your tips and tricks. Great stuff.
