The diverse artists that are presented in this exhibition have one thing in common: They all love music.
For this series, artists we admire share personally chosen selections of music by artists they love. With ten songs, they tell a story of the music that remains important to them, giving glimpses into their influences and personal histories.
Growing up in a time where it was common to swap mixtapes among friends, while now living in the quagmire of algorithmic playlists and short attention spans, we easily forget the joys of dedicated deep listening - discovering and pouring over every detail of songs and sounds selected by someone whose tastes we are curious about and respect. Deceleration in the age of hyper-acceleration.
