Story behind the film: In this episode of the Wild Spiti series, we follow a mother snow leopard and her two cubs as they traverse the rugged, snow-covered mountains of their habitat.
We found the snow leopard family resting in a rocky terrain, sheltered from the harsh winter winds. As the cubs play and nurse, the mother keeps a watchful eye, ensuring their safety.As the day progresses, the mother leads her cubs out of the den and into the snowy landscape. We see the family carefully making their way across steep, icy slopes, with the cubs learning to navigate the treacherous terrain under their mother's guidance.
At times, the cubs struggle with the deep snow, but their mother patiently encourages them onward. Throughout their journey, the family faces challenges, such as avoiding avalanche-prone areas and evading other predators. The mother's skill and experience are on full display as she keeps her cubs safe while traveling to new hunting grounds.
As the sun sets, the snow leopard family melts into the darkness. The episode ends with a sense of hope and resilience, as we see the cubs growing stronger and the mother's unwavering dedication to their survival.

This documentary beautifully captures the lives of a snow leopard family in the remote Spiti Valley.
