Many comments about how you would do it. He's just showing you how he does it. It's not a competition. Most of the people watching this aren't prepping for their next adventure. We are living vicariously through his perfect/imperfect experience. He's honest. Love it!
Yo age! Circa 1970, I wrote to the Finish embassy for a school project. They sent me a book that taught me a nordic life. In the mountains of New Hampshire I have broken through ice to swim in a freezing lake, have hiked trails of majesty, amd survived at least a half dozen times when I should have perished, all because of that book from Finland! Keep up the good work!
Ouch that last thing kind of hurt Man I think what you're doing is magnificent I love the way you stretch it out novices which is 99% of us have no idea and you actually do such a good job that a novice can go out and maybe nail it thank you thank you very much
I have been camping with my family from a little boy. I enjoy camping and I kow your inner peace. I am old ((63) now so I prefer to be at home but thank you for sharing your experience. From South Ffrica.
Thanks for the explanation; your thought process is important too. You make your builds easy for a beginner to follow (I'm sure many people appreciate that). Thank you for sharing your skills with us!
The most beautiful video! For the first time, I hear you explaining what and why you are doing, Also my all-time question about doing winter solo camping/bushcraft in your country is answered. So my understanding is that there is no regulation of entering public woods and doing this winter camping. Here in Canada, there isn't such public woods. Those that are allowed are always designated ones. I wish I could do winter solo camping at any spot I like, but unless I drive afar and walk long distance (with stuff) from a spot I can leave my car to the camping spot, next to impossible...It's illegal, simply... Thank you so much for your video, I enjoyed most!
Out of all the bush wilderness survival shows , this is my fave. Thanks from a fellow country boy from the back woods of upstate new york . Mohawk Indian nation to be exact. P.S. have you considered making 2 fires ,one at your feet and one at your head .
I think that camping in snow is so danger.☃️ However, you have a high technique.🏕️ Thank you for being able to show splendid camping!✨ Your video became the good hint.🇯🇵
I know its a different type of shelter and that time was not on your side for the first day, but I always love it when your build a shelter using your hand drill and use twigs as the bolts/screws/binders.
finally narration!! Awesome, but you should have the sound effects louder and just narrate in the background. Look up how "survivorman" does it, its great to have narration so you don't have to pay attention 100% and helps while doing other things like work on computer etc. Awesome video!
I appreciate you talking about your experience in the forest. I do wish you would use a pad to sleep on, so you don't over chill. I understand you want to show an experience of surviving in the forest. How about having fun and keeping warm, not just surviving. I've watched every one of your video and do enjoy watching your skill set expand with all your experiences. Keep making memories.
I dont know why. It must be something deep in our human DNA but I love these videos about building a shelter to survive in the harshest of conditions. Give me one of these shelters in minus 20 c over a 5 star hotel room anyday.
Wow! That A-frame debris shelter is boss looking! But of course, (and it look's as if you've accomplished it!) A successful shelter is COZY....WARM...and last , but certainly not least! D-R-Y!!!! P.s. Cool beans!
You have made a very good shelter. I never worried about animals when I was out. Esp wolves keep away from humans. You might get lucky and hear them howle. 🐾 ticks are the worst.😊
As my life is mostly work, eat, sleep, i sometimes think i would just vanish in the woods like years and be connected with the nature. But i realized when you said that it won't help on the long run that i just need to work less and do things i like more. 🙏
Enjoy all your videos but this was better for me because of the narration. I think this will be popular with your followers on YT. By the way your English is excellent, grammar and pronunciation.
thank you for another great video and adventure......I was wondering if you ever encounter the wind shifting and smoke out inside the shelter....thank you again
I bet laying on a bed of tree branches and leaves is very healthy for you, as well as camping in a shelter covered with tree branches & leaves. Breathing in the essential oils from the wood, leaves and stems must be great for the body and body systems.
Tarvitseeko tähän hommaan maanomistajan luvat? Onko sinulla? Mietin että mistä voisin löytää metsän jossa voisi käyttää hyödyksi luonnon materiaaleja, yms ja rakennella hienoja sheltereitä😃
I like how you leave the shelter for an animal or in case someone else comes upon it. Somebody could be in Dire Straits and need a shelter and that could Help them survive a cold night. So many of these survival channels have people that think they need to take the shelter down to preserve the forest, which I don't understand.
Luv the videos, but if your life is in danger from the bitter elements you should make your shelter much more wind resistant, plug those holes as much as possible and don't let that fire go out, gather a ton of fire wood it will make all the difference if things go bad, the cold and wet conditions can be a killer !!!!!
If you can bring a axe, bring a good size tarp and stakes to keep rain and wind from getting in shelter. And in winter, bring a good jacket, common sense!
Many comments about how you would do it. He's just showing you how he does it. It's not a competition. Most of the people watching this aren't prepping for their next adventure. We are living vicariously through his perfect/imperfect experience. He's honest. Love it!
Exactly! I’m never ever gonna replicate this, but I thoroughly enjoy watching others making shelters and hunkering down.
Glad ro finally hear you talk lol. Much love brother
From the US.- thank you for these videos.

I really like the narration. Keeps it interesting. 😊
Thank you for narrating your video. I really appreciated you taking the time and effort!

Hello LUCAS ..
The snow makes the forest look so beautiful ❤ stay warm out there ⚔🪓🏹🎣❤
I am in my 80s and your videos are so peaceful. Many thanks for almost spiritual

My Sami brother, you are like an angel, so handsome, brave, strong and smart. You are the best. Peace and God bless you from Maine.😀❄
Brilliant video mate, thanks from Hamilton in Scotland ❤
I love those types of shelters. Very cozy

Luving the narrative buddy
A nabor in sweden. Love your videos. It's very calming.🥰
My god he’s telling the truth. I myself love the outdoors. When it cold staying warm comes first.
In the furnace that now prevails in Athens your video was a breath of fresh air ... thank you very much.
Get out of here!!!It's Valhalla!!Not Athens 😅😅😅
Trade you Athens for Florida ANYDAY and twice on Sundays!!
Great show. I enjoy them all. Keep having fun
Ah , i get the peace from Nature , a really good shelter with fire wall, and the voice in the back ground speaks simple and true Words . . .
Hello from the Midwestern United States.
Trying something different with the narration huh? I like it :)
Always waiting for your filming videos brother ❤
As my life is mostly work, eat, sleep, i sometimes think i would just vanish in the woods like years and be connected with the nature. But i realized when you said that it won't help on the long run that i just need to work less and do things i like more. 🙏
Wow it's so awesome 😎
I love your message 😊
Great :)
Super video , it's brilliant escapism, thanks.
Enjoy all your videos but this was better for me because of the narration. I think this will be popular with your followers on YT. By the way your English is excellent, grammar and pronunciation.
Thanks, glad you like this version. More coming
Thanks from the Adirondacks in NY! Peace
I have enjoyed your speech ❤
I like the voice narration. Too many of these videos by so many of these other Outdoors folks are boringly silent.
Unbelievable as always 🙏 Thanks heaps again 🙏
Solo camping is full of struggle. Good luck guys
Thanks for this great video 🎉
Thanks for the reminder that we cant retreat alone forever. What good is strength if you dont carry the wounded once in a while?
thank you for another great video and adventure......I was wondering if you ever encounter the wind shifting and smoke out inside the shelter....thank you again
Yeah ,that's what I'm talking about. Build from the land out on the land.
From youre first vedio to this I am youre fan
and unlike many other bushcraft videos, don't watch movies in your tent as you go to bed. That defies the nature appreciation.
Greetings from Italy 💙
Italy is evil
I really like the narration.
Greetings from Ireland
Nice good luck with the long ship
Great job 👍 👏😮
I do quite like the narrative videos
I like the commentary.

Good noises to fall asleep to

🤗👍Bears are sleeping during the snow falls? 🪵❄️🦉🪶🐦🐰🦊🐺🐻
I like the deadpan humour as well
You better put some rocks into the fireplace and put it under your bed. It's 100 % work and keeps you warm in the nighttime.
If any beavers saw what you have done they would say good job!
in my country now summer
temperature 42🏜🌋♨️☀️☀️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Do the seasons differ between the two halves of the Earth?
Tarvitseeko tähän hommaan maanomistajan luvat? Onko sinulla?

Olis kiva kun sais suomenkielen tekstin näihin videoihin
Man, I swear, you are an accident waiting to happen with that hatchet. Gonna take a lot of stitches!
Boa noite.

So many of these survival channels have people that think they need to take the shelter down to preserve the forest, which I don't

His shelters use the forest, blend into the forest, are part of the forest. I like that he leaves them up as well.

Love the commentary atleast it's not that boring quiet

Bro it’s summer time..
hot as hell..
How you still dropping snow videos??
Its a narrated version from last year. I love to also tell of my experience and adventure 🌲
In a survival situation remember, It's better to be tried by 12 than carried by 6.
I am watching this
Beyond avonturir..
I like your video🎉
Hiii bro...hw u....love from India...where from you..??.....btw your sweater is so nice
That sweater your wearing is not JUST any sweater!
Looks like bear jokes are off limits for a while.
