When the girl runs out of the room away from Adrian, it's the brother in the hallway that clotheslines her to the ground and the one who beats up the cop. Adrian, at this point, runs away and sets up the whole "kidnapping" scene. It's hard to catch at first, but it isn't a plothole lol
