The figure just looked like a person holding a device or phone, it could be some sort of shadow or secondary shadow refraction of some sorts. You can see this phenomenon when you are in a photography studio, the different sources of lighting or even dim lighting can cause multiple shadow effects from 1 object or person on different plains

Sorry for the long comment.. I have a theory about certain "ghost" are simply new digital camera post processing software... LTT (linus tech tips) has a video about car cams (dashcams) where he points out that almost all cams are the same underneath. Same lens, processor, etc. So.. My suggestion to you guys, to make people like me less dismissive.. Search all the technical details of your current cameras e try to buy some different ones that would be the "total opposite". Different lens, hardware and software. If both cameras catch the same "shadow" it would be a better proof in my opinion. Hope it helps.
