This video was very powerful for me...tears everywhere and then when I saw the dolphins! wow...I love your channel. Thank you so much for this video..blessings
Gwen, I'm so glad it was helpful and that maybe it touched a part of you that needed to hear it. Seeing the dolphins definitely touched me as well. Such a beautiful blessed moment. Especially when I could see them pass and look up at me. Nature and it's beings should be free. I'm so thankful I could share that moment with you. 🙏😌⚘️🖌🎨🐬
What you talk about in this video is so powerful and important! Making art is not a means to an end just to get a finished pretty picture, it's the actual process itself that is the most rewarding 😊Ahhhh the dolphins made me smile, they are so gorgeous!😍😍😍 Thank you for sharing with us! ✨
Reese, Thank you so much for your heartfelt sharing. This is just what I needed to hear today. And, also, what a treat to be able to witness Dolphins living their best life!
Candace, I'm so glad you enjoyed today's video. I'm not sure it fits into the cadence of everything on my channel but it was sincere. Seeing the dolphins was amazing! I appreciate your encouragement and support 🙏😌🖌🎨🐬
Oh My Goodness!! This was the best!! I loved this whole video. I agree I’d only want to see dolphins 🐬 free! ❤ Yes art is my therapy and my special place to slow down and see. For so many reasons! Thank you Reese!
I'm so glad you enjoyed this week's video, Judy. I think that most of us drawn to create use it as therapy for sure. The dolphins were so amazing to see. I've never seen so many at one time. Such a blessing! 😊🐬🖌📚⚘️
Seeing those beautiful creatures made my heart so happy! I see them here in coastal Carolina as well and every time I feel like I was handed an amazing gift. On another note, I completely agree how art heals. I got into art years ago to manage stressful things. Collecting art supplies was just as fun! I enjoy trying out new things, but I need to be mindful. I am now paring my collection down and practicing more. I tend to gravitate to pastel, watercolor and colored pencil. Creating has always been my happy place, as I also knit and sew. Thank you for this beautiful video, and I look forward to more! 😊
What a lovely comment. I love the Carolinas, you are very lucky. I don't live close to the coast so I only get to see dolphins when I do day trips like this. It was such a blessing. I also don't like too much clutter which you might hear about in other videos, but I love my little collection. I love all the material you do as well as oils, and I appreciate fiber crafts and sometimes do embroidery which I shared a few videos ago. Thank you so much for watching today. 😌🙏🖌🎨🌻🐬
Totally relate to the collecting art supplies bit. Why do we do this? And then not use it. I was fortunate to discover a reuse store in my area specifically for artists/creatives. Last month I donated a ton of supplies, some brand new. It was easier to let them go with the thought that people will really enjoy using them to create. And the money raised goes to charity. A win/win in my book.
I have to admit, I still probably have more than I need, but I am brutal when I expel. Unfortunately, that sometimes comes with regrets. Donating makes a bit less painful, but I still miss somethings like my Russian Yarka pochade box that I got off Amazon for $75k. Now they are hard to find and way more than I want to spend. It was rickety, but solid and lightweight for the field... ugh. 😔😢🎨
@@mousepudding collecting supplies was like another hobby. But like you I ended up with a lot that didn’t get used or used enough. I could consider some of those purchases “education” as how would I know if I did or did not like that media. I ended up donating so much or selling on eBay. When I open my little narrow “art closet” now it feels nice! I’m not hit with decision fatigue. Reese, i love the pottery I see in your video that holds the brushes! What a great idea as they can be left out, contained and look so pretty that way!
I completely agree. Not being able to find anything can be frustrating. The pottery that you see with the brushes are ones I commissioned a few ago from a local Potter. Once I found a glaze I liked, it was a no brainer. 😊🖌🎨
Aw, a lovely complement. The camera is kind to me, sometimes. ☺️ I'm very glad you enjoyed the video and I'm glad you found my little channel too. 😌🙏🎨🖌🌻
I also want to thank you for this lovely video that I really needed today having had a hard couple of days sing your artwork and your soft voice and how you teach us about Community which I have always loved I am trying to start a couple of different art communities here where I live in New Hampshire in the dolphins really were a beautiful surprise and I agree with you sing I'm in the wild is so special God bless you
Hi! I'm glad you found the video soothing and sorry to hear a couple of days have been tough. Remember to take good care of yourself. I'm glad you loved the dolphins too. I was very fortunate that day. 🙏😉🐬🖍📚
Reese I have just found you on you tube you have inspired me to start up with my art again I have been feeling really low lately thank you again❤ god bless from Gary on the Isle of wight Hampshire england
That's wonderful news, Gary! I really believe if you dive into art, you will feel better a bit, or it will help give you a mental vacation. Even better if you can grab some supplies and get outside. Don't worry about how it looks, scribble, scratch, only draw a couple of leaves, breathe fresh air, listen to the sounds of nature. I hope you feel better soon. Hellos from Florida to your England... I watch Andrew Barrowman Art on RUclips in England for a bit of art, nature....so peaceful.. 👋 🖌📚🙏⚘️
I hope you hang out till the end for a very special treat that I got to experience this past week. 😉🐬
