    You know Misha, on the polestar you have you can adjust the damper stiffness, like on coilovers, it would be fun seeing if it would make the car handle better, I think there is a guide in the instruction book ;)

    Thanks for the information. Learn something everyday. Not sure about the choking feature on this thing. There will be someone who likes it for sure. A simple on/off button or setting might be enough to sort the issue out.

    Great to see your open mindset to EVs Misha. In the first video you asked what we want to see:
    1. What is your opinion about the "Sport mode, ESC off". It is supposed to put more torque to rear, and allow for some more slip. (It definitely loosen up the rear on Norwegian winter roads), but do you get the impression of overall more or less power in total, or just a shift towards the rear?
    2. Play around with the adjustable suspension please, and let us know which settings you prefer for the Nordschleife.
    3. If someone could please let us know about a extension cable kit that can be mounted to rear Öhlins dampers, that would be really helpful. These are kind of cumbersome to adjust, and preferably an extension that could be routed to trunk would be ideal.
    Great channel overall, cheers.

    Might want to put a "S" lock on the seat belt close to the top "pulley" to avoid choking. Will not be the safest thing to do in case of a crash but it won't be worse than any car without this system

  • @BaruKz
    @BaruKz 3 года назад +1

    You could after a few laps try to fine tune those ollhins to the circuit that will be even better. If it wasn't that seatbelt you could go much faster, it's a shame because the package is there and you still are with winter tyres. This reviews show how fast the battery is drained fully and that is being pioneer in this matter. Thanks for showing the full potential 👍

  • @tony_5156

    It depends basically, because many of these curbs are very OLD SCHOOL
    They’re totally not comfortable for the car because they’re tall and definitely not smooth compared to the curbs on the F1 GP circuit.

    The Polestar 2 is the most environmentally friendly vehicle. If the systems detect that the driver is driving in a very harmful manner to the environment, the seat belt is tightened until the driver fails to do so.
    Important: This can possibly lead to the death of the driver. Volvo and her daughter do not accept any responsibility in this case.

    Thanks Misha for your explanations and polestar lap! Enjoyed watching! But one more important question here: please check out that you can adjust the “Zugstufe” on this car having the performance package on it. Why don’t you adjust to a more hard setup and show us another lap with a sporty setup! Would be a good complementary message how good the suspension of the Polestar 2 is designed! And perhaps do it with summer tyres again 😂😉👍🍀

    You got sidetracked fast :D I feel like ending summary should've been at the beginning. (Racecar vs road car curb philosophy) Also doing it on a second lap so you're not fighting against the car would end up being much more professional looking. But nonetheless that spirit of a live lap with all the unexpectedness that comes with racing is something special. Cheers!

    I would only use (I mean really use) the curbs at exit Foxhole, Wipperman, Wipperman and Eiskurve. A few others (for example exit Ex-Mühle) I may touch with the outside wheels just to keep the car from sliding too much.

    You maybe should have included that each curb you take also stresses the car, especially good to know for beginners with maybe used project cars or trying out daily drivers. Also, you upset the balance sometimes and even lose time, for example if you have a FWD car it can get wheelspin.
