  • This video provides a 6 minute overview of the RTR Spare Tire Carrier and RTR Tail Gate Limiter installation for the 2021+ Ford Bronco. I use this spare tire carrier for my spare 37" tire.

Oh snap. I didn't realize the RTR carrier can be run with just the new hinges if we wanted. Considering this over the IAG/JCR options but daaammmmn double the price.

Great video. Did you need to set tire carrier off-center to get the accessory plate on? If not, then do you think the Jerry Can holder would fit?

Accessory plate installs easy without needing to move the tire carrier off center but the Jerry can mount will not fit without moving the tire to the left. However another bronco owner installed the RTR Jerry mount on his OEM spare tire carrier - if you don't have the RTR setup you can check out how to do that

I like this one a lot, but the price is nearly $1000 more than the others that include the hinge replacement. Why did you ultimately go with this one? I want the RTR carrier and the RTR bumper, but 3500!

@@ericplatz6458 I went with the RTR to support a 37" spare and a high lift jack. The kit was $1,199.99, limiter $150, RTR accessory plate $150, high lift jack mount $260 all without tax etc.
Ridiculously expensive but it is high quality and I still haven't seen one that looks as good. Im happy I went with it but it is real pricey.
Went with the ADD Rock Fighter bumper and that was insanely priced as well.
The one positive is I don't need to do any more upgrades so overall satisfied with the RTR and glad I'm done spending for a while

Appreciate the install videos. I came to see the Icons on a bronco, but subscribed for your other content. Ps. I’m ordering the Icon rims soon. I’m guessing you have the 0 offset. I think I’m going with +25. I have a badlands non sas, 2.3L and feel I won’t go larger than 35’s. Any thoughts appreciated.

Yes, I have the Icon Rebounds with zero offset. Currently have 37x13.5" Nitto Ridge Grapplers on them but had 35x12.5" previously.
Personally I like the "poke" of the zero offset but I've always covered the tires using the air design fender flares. +25 offset would look great as well if you wanted to keep that stock stance.
      Definitely appreciate you subscribing!

I also have a 2.3L non sas bronco badlands.

I see you started with a non sas as well. How does it feel with 37s with the stock gear ratio? Do you feel it struggles at all?

@@TomRupp I have a manual and notice a difference in 1st but the Nittos are so much smoother than the stock MTs. On 35s barely any difference with just a 1" level installed. On 37s I have perch collars and the JKS max tire kit for clearance.
Unlocking sport mode is the way to go on 35s or 37s. I use it 100% of the time.

I’m looking at getting this, is the powder coat on it smooth, or slightly texture like OEM would be?

Out of country but will double check in a week when I return. Get the limiter for sure

For some. But it looks awesome and is sturdy as hell. My complaint would be the price but everything for these rigs is expensive
