In this webcast, we looked at some of the criteria a trader might want to include in a trading plan for Short Put Verticals. We placed 2 example trades on the thinkorswim paperMoney platform. We also showed how to quickly review current positions and how to calculate the net profit (loss) and return on risk on a trade that had hit a target. Lastly, and perhaps frustratingly, we looked at several potential trades which at first glance looked appealing but when we looked further we determined that it did not meet our example criteria for entering a trade.

Vivian, I think that I was looking at a lot of stocks this week and created a list of stocks moving bullishly and bearishly. Often, I will just bring up the Dow30, the Nasdaq100 or S&P100 public watchlists and link my chart to the watchlist. Then I can very quickly click through to look for example opportunities. ^Barb
