I built this back in 94 while i was living in anahein CA. It was one of my great joys to do this kind of stuff while i was bodyboarding, listening to alan watts philosophy and being engaged with the first massive mulitplayer online game at the time called gemstone 3. Anyway, I flew guillows planes starting at age of 8 that i bought at convenience stores in new york at the time and you slide the wings into the slot, ran outside and spun the propeller and launched......and that launch put me in a world of wonder, see how far it could go as i chase it on beautiful green grass fields with blue skies overhead. This is real mysticism. Not a better, more emotionally gratifying time could be found! Thanks for showing us this great workhorse plane again! Take care brother!

Is this an RC plane or just a kit only?

Just a kit. It was actually designed for free flight on glow or rubber band power but it was fairly easy to convert to electric RC.

I made mine RC like a year after I made the video and I didn’t really like the way it flew...... probably cause I had like a pound of electronics in this tiny airplane.

@@loganreuter6072 I was considering converting mine to rc, maybe keeping it light and make it look like a 182 :D
