The reason he seems to be more complicated in his wordplay is due to it going over so many heads on omegle and guerilla bars. He touched on it in an interview somewhere how he has to dumb it down just so people can enjoy it better. Which i think is such a flexxx haha he is a specimen of an artist like no other…. YET. He’s building some real historic building blocks for the next generation. Shit hottttt reaction 🔥
An excellent reaction, however the last rap was freestyle, but it wasn't off the top. Look at the frames prerap where he states, "All Lyrics precomposed in my head and then recorded in one continuous take "Jay-Z style"" You were too busy with your phones to bother to take note of this setup.

I'll be honest, as big of a Harry Mack fan as I am, this ain't it for me, never has been. Thing is, a lot of people try to judge Harry based off metrics that aren't where his strengths are, and its because what he's GREAT at nobody's been able to monetize before. It's not about laying down tracks or battle rapping with Harry. Harry is an interactive off-the-top rapper, second to none. His 2 EPs were done prior to the world tours, where he steps up multiple times over. This is incredible *for what it is*, but it's aiight to what its compared to. Omegle Bars episodes 70, 75, & 80 are phenomenal (you've already done 85), as is Guerilla Bars 25. He also just dropped a 4-track joint last week on the Wired channel thats dope AF, and answers some question (including about Battle Harry). Also for a good time, his collab with Mark Rebillet ("Reh-bee-yay") with the tracks "In the Club" and "Move Your Body" are some of the best just laugh-out-loud good time tracks out there (Mark Rebillet is the H Mack of the Loopstation; he improvises full tracks on the spot while Harry freestyles off the top)
Respect this...and I (Dash) agree. I think we got into a little bit of that on our podcast this week about fans killing hip hop first. Now days, instead of letting people just be great at what they're good at people tend to want other artist to sound like another artist to prove their good. Then you have people like Harry doing things because he COULD (make a freestyle album), vs focusing solely on what makes him great. I think the EP was dope... it was cool but it's not the greatest ep ever...and its impressive he can freestyle good as he does but when you're judging a EP now you're just judging the music... it don't matter if you write it or not, the music is just the music. That's why I gave it a B+. I'm sure if he sat down with real producers, really put thought into a ep he would blow this out the water!!!

So for you to judge the product while ignoring how it was created inevitably decreases the impact of tracks from h-Mack. It’s like, no matter how fire a track is, if it was created by AI, it has less impact because there’s no meaning behind it. For H-Mack, the act of creation is a necessary part of the final product.
Off the top is his greatness... he don't have to make songs because that's not actually what he great at... now as a artist I'm not mad at him doing it, but you can't expect Lebron to outshoot Steph. They're great at different things

Once the world tours hit and they realized that Harry could perform a unique concert at every event, and build it together with the crowd (hence: "Energy Exchange Tout", was the first one, then now that Harry himself gets it, it's the "Odyssey Tour"). Now that everyone understands his talent has built a genuine revenue stream, and he has successfully traded the expectation to "perform the classics" and hype the crowd and replaced that with audience collaboration to build a unique experience for every single event. The live shows are incredible, I can attest to that for sure.
He's made up whole songs with hooks multiple times in Omegle bars. First time was episode 4 I think but there are others too that are even better (i can't remember which, hopefully someone will read this and help out 🤞).
Yeah, he has made so many hooks off the top now, it’s not even unusual for him anymore. Some of the comments make assumptions that he might not be able to do things that he’s proven and posted many, many times at this point.

I don’t think this or any of his EPs are the best songs to recommend as someone’s first time hearing Harry. Not because they aren’t as dope, but because new listeners won’t believe it is off-the-top. Because let’s face it, it is ridiculous to believe something like this is off-the-top. That’s why people should be introduced to Harry via his Omegles Bars, Guerrilla Bars, or Wordplay Wednesdays so he can first prove to them beyond all doubt that he can do this kind of stuff off-the-top.
