When i first saw this square block i wondered how it was made! It looks so intricate. But now i see how simply you made it. I never would have guessed! You truly are a Master, Don Kim!
Don Kim, you had me guessing until round four. You foundation pieced a Log Cabin; but, you used the Courthouse Steps color plan. You also added Pineapple corners on each round. I have never see this done before. This is a nice cross between three old quilt block patterns (The Log Cabin, The Courthouse Steps, and The Pineapple). The end results is a beautiful patchwork tote bag with two pockets on the back and one zippered pocket inside. This bag should be washable. Wonderful. Thank you for this new idea. Please stay safe.

All the bags are very creative and wonderful but I wanted this one paired with white denim and not the usual old blue denim. The intricate work done to make the fabric front on this bag is beautiful. Please Don Kim, where is the white denim and the red denim?! Love these videos.

In Sweden we call this technique "blockhusruta" and children learn to sew it at school before the age of 13. Keep on sewing! Love your tutorials.
