Pumped for this build! Just got your same spec tundra but in the crew max, short bed. Bought the same screen protector and rubber mat kit the week after I bought it. Just installed GMRS comm, decked drawer system, and a 100 watt solar panel mounted to the roof. Now waiting for my dirtbox overland bed topper to be built and go out to their shop in Denver to get it installed, hopefully before expo west. Excited to see where you take the truck.

gooey stuff works but it like goes bad fairly quickly and just makes a bigger mess sticking to everything and instead of pulling the dust off. also leaves a slight residue
What brand is the safe? How do you like it? I have a locker down in my titan but don’t love it the digital lock is chinsy , I got a tuoJoe for my sienna with bio lock it is nice
do you need to have the SIM (and memory card) in order to use the Binize? I tried to use on my brand new just bought 2 months ago 2024 Tundra Crewmax, but don't know how, and the manual instruction came with it is no help.

It's just rubber, so you could cut it easily. The problem is there is an inset colored line for aesthetics, and you would cut into that. It'd work, just wouldn't look as good as the rest.
Did you end up troubleshooting the box connection to your phone? Mine won’t get through, continues to say “IP config failure” in the WiFi menu. Worked fine on the home internet.
Did you have any issue doing "full screen" with the Android Streaming Box? When I use Apple Car Play I'm able to maximize the full screen but with the Android one I have the Toyota Icons still there on the left side and I can't seem to get them to go away. Any advice?
@@TalonSei don’t know if all do it, but the one I got for my mdx and 4Runner did(2 different brands). It left the pattern of the Eva foam or rubber on the seats. Tried to clean it with interior cleaner but didn’t come off. I’m sure there’s stuff to get it off but I gave up on it lol.
I had a wireless CarPlay adapter from another reputible company that was very expensive and the maps froze almost every time I used it. Even if I wasn't actively using the navigation, the map would just freeze while I was driving around. The music controls were also SUPER laggy. So, I'm very interested to see how this adapter works for Talon because it is definitely something I want for my truck with standard wired CarPlay.

are those rubber inserts something that can be trimmed to fit?... a little shorter or narrower? could you cut one to fit in the phone charger slot?

I just loaded movies on to an SD card. Haven’t tired to connect to my phone again yet. I will mainly use my Starlink.

It can be buggy. Make sure you are in full screen before you start the Android box.

It’s just like using the apps on any other device.
I cut out that non slip rubber lining out of the seat covers. They will bleed into your seats and stain them during summer time.

Not with this. That typically happens over wireless CarPlay but plugged in is instant.

Was it a carlink kit?
@@alchemistx1 It was Quad Lock's wireless carplay adapter. Lots of good reviews, so I was very surprised by how bad it was in my truck.

I would take the rear seat headrests out ASAP. Much better rear view if you are not carrying people all the time.
