Having a match at white belt level , you get all types of guys . I know I competed with 3 weeks experience and am almost 40 out of shape fat and smoke , no real skill and got a gold and two silvers none were technical and I knew maybe 3 moves I learned from ufc . Starting at the blue belt level things start to change real quick . I hope you two enjoyed the experience. After my first tournament it made me want more . Thanks for the video maybe it will help others not be so nervous about competing worse case you lose but at least you tried .

I would have turned down that match with Bart too. Not for fear of losing but for fear of being injured.

Wow for someone who has never done this before. That guy in the blue gi has good habits. His posture he maintains in guard and the way he sat down close to the shoulder for that armbar but yet never did an armbar before. I mean... it takes awhile for most white belts to get those habits.

Congratulations to the nadeem fella he looks like he could have potential in the art he looked methodical when trying to pass the tall dudes guard which is difficult if you've never practiced on that body type, if he works on that grip for the arm triangle it could be a nice little goto
