Who would have thought it all that salsa dancing in Ghana! The pool looks like a lake--it's so huge. A great welcome to the motherland. Just a few weeks ago I watched some of Mark Wein's video he did on different food dishes in Ghana. Look out for Banku made from fermented corn and cassava dough cooked in water into a consistent whitish paste served with okra soup. stew or pepper sauce with fish. Looking forward to the series, and maybe we get to see some local food.
Great video you really did a good job showcasing Ghana to the world. What y'all see on TV is not the totality of Africa they dont show you the real beauty of Africa.
"Salsa/Rhumba music" is of African origin as is virtually all music of the universe with "Soulful Rythme". It is most commonly played by musicians (people) from Congo, Angola, Senegal, Cape Verde and Gabon. Thanks for sharing your experience in the Motherland.
I visited Nubia and the people started singing and clapping for President Sadat birthday. I would have cried if it wasn't the fact that people were around me....I thought I was in a Baptist black church. They double clapped, danced stumped their feet like they were black Americans.
Looks so fun!! Get it! That line dancing looks like something I would definitely be doing!!! LMBO!! And the club is open 24-7??? Love it!! Yes I was very surprised to see the Salsa dancing in Ghana!
I visited in mid July. I fell in love and can't wait to go back. We went as far north as the Volta Region to Wli waterfall and as far along the coast to Cape Coast.
THE NEXT TIME MAKE A VISIT TO THE " ONE AFRICA" PLACE OF SISTER IMMAKUS. AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMAN WHO LIVED IN GHANA FOR 30 YEARS. SHE GOT A BEAUTIFUL RESTAURANT NEAR THE BEACH.

It is refreshing to see people understanding how things are in Africa especially Ghana. People needs to go out there and experience things themselves. The media will never show you this. Because it undercuts their efforts to solicit money for the poor, which never get to the intended targets. People don’t live in a shithole. Someone might not have everything in life but people are responsible , courteous, clean and respectful.
