Just a few weeks ago I watched some of Mark Wein's video he did on different food dishes in Ghana. Look out for Banku made from fermented corn and cassava dough cooked in water into a consistent whitish paste served with okra soup. stew or pepper sauce with fish. Looking forward to the series, and maybe we get to see some local food.

I visited Nubia and the people started singing and clapping for President Sadat birthday. I would have cried if it wasn't the fact that people were around me....I thought I was in a Baptist black church. They double clapped, danced stumped their feet like they were black Americans.
