Just saying at 2:30 i'd get a chuckle if you tied your finger. Besides I've been tieing and tieing and tieing for nearly 25 years. Lots of ironworkers think these guns are The Cats Litter Box!!! My boss got himself one. And I test-drove it today. Golly-Gee!!! I'm in love! I love to tie! But now I don't even want to tie. This gun! It's been a good gun.
Couple grand depending on where you get it. Usually discounted through tool supply stores. The rod busters that tie for us have one to use for little shit they don’t want to waste their normal wire on lol
Theirs doesn’t. You can only use that guns specific wire because it’s not a standard one loop tie. In other words it’s twisted making it two strands of wire as compared to one. That and most tie wire is thicker and won’t fit into the gears inside the gun
They are worthless as they do not tighten them very tight as tight as you can with hand so the only use for them is on floors lol tried every single one of these guns none are okay
Thats a negtive .. we have eigtht of them and have pass all inspection over the last 3 years . Flat work, Cages, grade beams ,retaining walls , coloums ..haven't look back
It a huge time saver. And effort. My team can live without Max.

Good eye, 😉Safety first; I might of gotten complacent a bit after more than decade with the MAX twin tiers.
Does it take a different type of wire

Funny thou, here in Nigeria, we use the steel binding wire as against the galvanized binding wire
what's is downtime vs the 398S? The brake design on the 398s is killing me. So many junk spools and wasted time.
It is a far more durable tool with little to no jamming and far more reliable, faster and trouble free. Huge upgrade.
