I'm a little confused about the volume going down when you zoom. Is this a feature of whatever you're filming on it, or is it not meant to do that? That beach looked pretty good.
I think it’s a stupid iPhone thing 😅 it has happened to me a couple times in the past and I forget about it while filming sometimes. Doesn’t happen if I have a wireless mic plugged in.

I figured it out. There is an option in the iPhone settings “record in stereo” turning that off keeps the recording volume the same at all times.
