But What To Expect when you want to hike Upper catawba falls I'd say it's a little challenge for some people specially for kids and old people, Upper Catawba Falls should only be attempted if you are an experienced hiker and have a hiking partner with you at the time otherwise just stay at the lower falls,

This campground is located just down the road from the new parking area. Walk from your campsite to the falls! The campground offers a number of tent and RV sites (with hookups) near the river, on-site conveniences such as a camp store, and camping cabins.
