Full body experience. I played this for my mom who has never heard this sort of music and she started tearing up and clapping at the end. So powerful
Also the fact that the crowd is already on their feet halfway through the last note, really sends you over the edge

The guy who plays the Eb cornet in the second row is my new hero. What a sparkling, superbly powerful tone.
i still think it's really cool how the "two big corps of the season" both used this song as part of their opening sequence for a very short amount of time in very similar styles too (i prefer scv's arrangement better but it's just an opinion).

Déjà que ce morceau est énorme mais alors cette version ...
Le solo de bugle me fait chialer à chaque fois, un cornet Mib qui rend complètement fou, des effets et un son d'ensemble assez monstreux !
Bravo les belges, en plus d'avoir de très bonnes bières, vous avez un super brass band !

I knew this piece was used as part of the opener to SCV and BD in 2017 (at 1:51), but did anyone else notice that the Cavaliers used the part at 8:14 in their 2018 show? I thought that was really interesting!

Man, it was a nail-biter up to the very end! SCV definitely did a lot more with this piece (BD barely touched it, in fact), but BD's overall show was unstoppable. Fantastic performances from both corners, though!

no it's towards the beginning, and its a super short section, unlikes scv
