For every lore enjoyer : No one has ever seen the face hidden beneath the mask of Yurnero the Juggernaut. It is only speculation that he even has one. For defying a corrupt lord, Yurnero was exiled from the ancient Isle of Masks--a punishment that saved his life. The isle soon after vanished beneath the waves in a night of vengeful magic. He alone remains to carry on the Isle's long Juggernaut tradition, one of ritual and swordplay. The last practitioner of the art, Yurnero's confidence and courage are the result of endless practice; his inventive bladework proves that he has never stopped challenging himself. Still, his motives are as unreadable as his expression. For a hero who has lost everything twice over, he fights as if victory is a foregone conclusion.
i heard that the one we played is not actually yurnero, the real one is killed by the one wearing the mask, well atleast thats the story around my internet cafe back in the day, in my area we liked to play the game and the lore sometimes intrigues us, such a good times
Keep track of your quick buy, when you hear the gold sound, always buy and deliver, you could have had abyssal before you died bot and lost 500 gold. Also, stop farming 7-8 slot items before fighting. You could have won a 5v5 way earlier. Play with your team more and don't go hunting 1v3-4-5. Other than that, your progress is outstanding! GL NEXT!!
Great game! You're learning so fast. Tip: At 48:00 your first instinct should be to smash Spin button, not Healing Ward. Spin gives you magic immunity to further cc and magic dmg (Rot) and massive movement speed gain, so I think you could've escaped with by disjointing WR's Shackle with Spin and then running while spinning + Phase Boots. Also, did you know that you can cast Healing Ward while spinning? That's why Spin is also a higher priority to cast first, because you can cast Healing Ward immediately afterwards while being safe from cc. You could use Quickcast for Healing Ward, because it does not rely on precise targeting or range. Sometimes those saved microseconds matter. Good luck!
I know chat was giving you the hard Kappa at the end there, but you are right that your general decision making and game sense about where you should be and what you should be doing and the value of different actions and objectives has come on _loads_ since you last played a position 1 I think! Like you say, still some kinks to work out in the fights, but a lot of growth on display here! One important kink in the fights I think was that your value brain really wanted to get healing ward out as a matter of priority before omnislashing to make yourself untargetable, but on a lot of occasions the animation of healing ward being summoned was long enough to give the enemy a chance to chain CC you again :) Thanks as always for sharing your DotA journey with us Grubbs, it's super fun
Grubby is doing outstanding. Perhaps my only point that you may lack while playing carry, is that you need to put more pressure on enemy tower. Like when they have 2-3 dead heroes, you can for sure take out a lot of HP of t3 towers, and melt T2.
Love the content man, my buddy is a massive fan and introduced me to you about a week before the viper collab (same time I introduced him to vipers gameplay 😂) and I introduced him to AOE4, now i see you playing dota 2 and collabs with notail and ceb who are another two of my favorite players! For a note that you are new to Dota is you already did a FANTASTIC JOB!! You got the basic like Last Hit / Deny and etc. but perhaps try to watch out for MINIMAP often is a good way to more good playing on Dota. Because it does give you a LOT of information, like : 1. Where is the enemy and how many are there shows in lane so you can predict where and how you play next 2. Where is the allies and are they need help in push/war/def/etc. Also, sometimes it worth to buy some item that have Effect Active/Passive more than the Bonus Stat it has. Because, that item perhaps turns the battle because it's effect not it's status. Other than that, you already AMAZING as new Dota Player, perhaps almost meet Ancient criteria at this point.
5:12 fun fact: in dota 1 it used to work differently, it gave You a set amount of slashes, something like 12 with aghanim max level. But You could build your attack speed with items to (325??) and be able to attack them while in your ult's animation. Probably got reworked because it was a weird janky mechanic, probably out of an oversight.
it essentially works as a spell with 3/6/9/12(aghs) instances of 250-275(or was it 225-250?) physical damage if you have enough attack speed, jugg "weaves" his normal attacks in between the omnislash strikes the full attack speed based omnislash is a relatively recent(maybe a year or so?) change
use manta to farm lanes while you farming jungle effiency and more safety for you because the lane is pushed to them so you will see them if they defend or not if not they are smoking. and you can push towers with your shard spin so you will be safe hitting towers if they spam skills to defend like zeus. you can use abbysal blade when you omnislash sos they cannot use any items or skills that can help them survive. when you spin on the enemies do not click them, you should always been on top of the enemy not on the edge so you can maximize your damage

A lane wave gives more gold and xp than a jungle camp. @18:50 you should've moved back to top lane to catch the double wave on your tower instead of jungling. s4 mentioned this in your Razor vid as well, to skip camps and go catch waves.
@Professor Thinker stack camps if the opportunity is there! At 18:50 the opportunity WASN'T there. And there was a teammate that could've stacked the camps instead. It was more efficient to catch the top wave. Calling people clueless, without offering any reasons makes you just as clueless.
I'm not a pro (around 4.5k mmr) but as a support I stack the neutral camp first then pull so our creeps die to neutrals and the lane gets pushed towards our tower. But you wanna do this when the lane is pushed towards their tower
i think you should go Skadi and Swift Blink dagger instead of Basher cause they only have one right clicker which is SF and they have a lot of CC, you just need to survive the Butcher's dismember/ WR's shackle then Ulti 'em xD
Please tell someone to teach you how to creep agro, that is so important when you play core and you need to farm. Another thing, bring yourself tango and heal on lane when you do not have regen.

Just because u werent spaming abilitys to farm made basilius kinda useless, u had ur mana full all farming time. Nice healin ward micro bro, really nice!
Vlads 50 mins is not a good ideea though 😅 Even more: you don't really need lifesteal on jugg. You have healing ward. The 20% lifesteal didn't helped late game. But you could have just seller the ring and got a better item like aghs. That would have made you more survivable and gave you way more DMG than Vlad's did
Healing for farming is just stupid when ur basically avoiding fights except when ult is up and defending key objectives. Im not a core but Grubby is right on this. A point in it is enough.
Why talent for Omnislash? That doesn't help in the jungle. This is the problem with the A to Z. If Grubby were to play Antimage now, I think he'd find his perfect match; the ultimate passive jungler.
