ONE OF MY MOST POPULAR VIDEO IDEAS RETURNS! It took quite a bit of planning to set this one up. I was honestly hoping that we could just use a similar strategy from the first game, but as it turns out quick respawn didn't want us to.Even if you killed somebody with something small like a sprinkler, you still lose any effects from quick respawn when you die. The only other strategy I could think of is this strange fake death glitch someone showed me a while ago, but it would be pretty useless in a situation like this. Either way since assists counts as kills, we TECHNICALLY got 99 kills and 99 deaths.

I think there might be a way to get a _much_ longer overtime, if you want to rack up kills without the deaths:
Play Splat Zones, on a map with small Zone(s), like Camp Triggerfish. Make sure team A is one point from victory at the end of the match, and one of the zones is team A's and one is team B's.
One player from team A is the one getting kills. Three from team B are the sacrificial lambs.
At the end of the match, an Inkbrush (the remaining team B player) paints team A's zone to begin overtime.
The remaining three players from team A ink it back after a point has passed. They spend 14 seconds (overtime ends after 15 seconds) giving ink to the Inkbrush, and the Inkbrush charges in time to thow a bomb and Splashdown on the point, resetting the clock.
Immediately, the three from team A ink back the Zone, stopping the clock on the next point. Again, 14 seconds of charging special, followed by the Inkbrush painting the zone and team A taking it back.
If the timer stops for 14 seconds on every single point, with 1 second to gain a point, this makes overtime last 25 minutes. Added to the actual game's 5 minutes, that's _half an hour_ of total game time.
At 3 kills per 6 seconds, that's 900 kills in overtime alone.

Gear perks... I was thinking some blend of what you used for 99 specials and what you used here. You won't need tenacity since you'll be dying. If special saver is a thing, it would definitely help.
2v4 tower control on The Reef.
Your teammate goes with you to act as the point where you superjump, help you get assists, set up for the overtime strategy, and whatever else you need them to do.
You jump around and shoot, and the other team covers what you shot (though they may need bombs or something since your teammate is killing them to get you the assists).
You use splashdown, then someone kills you.
You superjump to your teammate, and whoever is killed on the other team superjumps to one of their teammates.
You jump around and shoot...
Later on, your teammate will be on the tower to activate overtime. You could even put the tower in the same spot you used for getting 99 specials so the enemy on the tower can still cover your ink (and your teammate can still help you get assists).
That' pretty heck hard

Should’ve used the Dualie Squelchers. You can get extra deaths in the beginning and you still have the point sensor.
The Master is back :). Don't forget about how ur able to respawn even faster since u died without a kill. So to count the achievements: 3 99 kills, 1 99 deaths, over 100 beacons used in 1 game, and NO1 FELL OFF THE TOWER.

Could I add you as a friend on Splatoon 1? I'd like to set up a private battle where it goes to Rainmaker, Bluefin Depot, and you know how near one of the grates, there's an empty spot right at spawn? Well, we get all Quick Respawn and jump off there and see how many times we die. My Turf War high score is 29.

How do you get level star
They made assists add to your kill counter because some people are about to kill someone, but then their teammate comes in and takes it from them.
I want to see you try it again, but maximize the number of kills that are legitamate kills rather than assists.
