Just so you know, citrus essential oils are used to reduce redness and spots on the skin. They can be irritants, but they are usually not when diluted into something else, unless a person has a specific sensitivity.

As someone who works in the utility field. "Using 100% renewable energy" is a false statement. But it sounds good. What they're actually doing is buying "Renewable Energy Credits" or RECs from their electric utility provider. Basically they pay extra on their bill to say that they are using wind. But in reality there HAS to be backup generation from a non-renewable energy source because wind isnt 100% productive all the time. So what they're doing is actually paying more so they can say they're using 100% renewable energy but in real life they are not because of the engineering of how electricity and renewable energy works. Its strictly paying more for the RECs so they can market to you that they're "green"
I just started using the effaclear cleanser to replace my dermalogica one (trying to save a buck) and I’m honestly really impressed. I even went out and go the body lotion for super dry skin and so far no issues with that either.
Nicole Kawa i know he normally does, but the first product was $50 and i mean that he should recommend a cheaper option for the product too, because i personally may want to try something like that, but cant afford that price point, is what i mean
Honestly, Origins has forever changed my life. I had been on a few medications for a while, and had tried multiple products to even not washing my face. Origins has changed my life !!!
I just got the checks and balances face wash and I find that it actually is really balancing for my very oily skin, which can get dried out really easily if a cleanser is too stripping, thus making me even more extra oily.
@@cinnamonraw3590 It actually wasn't that bad! I use the charcoal face mask, the eye cream and the overnight sleeping mask (not mentioned so idk if that's a nono or not). So the products I use are among the better ones at least! But skincare is DEFINITELY easier now with Hyram's help
I’ve been using Origins skincare for more than 3 months and it does magic on my face! decrease the redness and whenever i have a breakout I’ll just use a cotton pad and apply the lotions.
@woo hoo he was!! i used to think "why is his sub count only 300k, his videos are perfect for everyone rn" like i didnt even realize he hit 611k thats insane
Someone as deserving as him shouldn’t expect anything different. He takes his highly educational videos that teach all of us a lot about skincare, and makes them fun and interactive, and I think THAT is the key to RUclips.
When I saw the photo for my clay mask in your thumbnail, I was like NOOO!!! Because it's fucking brilliant and SO much cheaper than all the fancy clay masques, so I was really happy when it went on your good list. Every time I use it, my skin looks like I've had a full facial.
Could you do a "truth about neutrogena skincare" video! They have come out with new products recently and I'm curious about it! And talk about the hydro boost line!!
hkcb B all I can say is that they aren’t cruelty free but beside that I don’t know much about the brand 😅but I would love to know what’s his opinions about the brand
I love hydro boost myself and I am a picky guy. I just talked about them in my 5 brandds under $20 review. I look forward to see what Hyram has to say too!
My skin has improved so much since watching you! My combo skin routine: - simple micellar wash or YTP kale wash depending on how dry my skin is that day - Sunday Riley good genes lactic acid Chem exfoliant (I got a big free sample) when I need it - cerave eye cream - FAB ultra repair cream for the winter and I have a sample of the YTP adaptogen cream - khiels super fluid 50 spf (it’s the chemical one but my partner got it free from work so I’m going to use it up and then get a new sunscreen) Extras: - the ordinary AHA BHA red mask 1 time a week - the ordinary SA for blemishes - the ordinary HA on my t-zone and chin for oil control - the ordinary alpha albutrin for dark spots let behind from spots (works SO well)
Omg I bought the serum for like 20 bucks because supposedly it's supposed to be amazing but it did not help my skin at all 😤 I was sooo dissatisfied and disappointed
@@celesthebus4539 Shiseido as an established brand has such a huge variety of products I think it really depends on the specific. I looked at their entire Revital EX II line and found that there is no alcohol in any product; all products have parfum, but all as the very last ingredient. However, I then looked up their Bio-Performance and Benefiance line. OMG it’s a different world.
@@celesthebus4539 Oops I just realized the Revital line only targeted Asian markets mainly Japan and China, and was retired and rebranded as the Vital-Perfection line, which is now sold more internationally. BUT I went on both Shiseido’s Japan and US sites, and found for the same product (V-P Intensive WrinkleSpot Treatment), the Japanese one has Retinol as the first ingredient, whereas the US one places it below parfum and just one above alcohol... Japan has the same law requirement as to ranking ingredient predominance.
I love the Origins drink up intensive overnight mask, even though it is heavily fragranced. It’s the only leave on product I use for my face that has fragrance, but it works so well for my dehydrated skin. I bought it before I got super interested in skincare ingredients, and I haven’t been brave enough to look closer at the ingredient list because I’m sure that would ruin the product for me. 😂 I also like the clay mask, which I bought specifically because I was looking for a fragrance free clay mask that isn’t super stripping to the skin.
A German indie brand called Junglück is the best one I've found so far regarding fragrance-free straight-forward formulations and environmental initiative.
Elise- Noisy Noyes Clinique 👎🏼 Tula 👍🏼 (if you aren’t lactose intolerant because you’re more likely to have an allergy to lactic acid) Glam glow RUN AWAY
Margaret Sykora THATS why Tula ruined my skin oh my god i hadn’t even thought of that! I was super excited to use it and it caused insane amounts of cystic like acne that looked very similar to when I drink milk. Mystery solved!! Why not a Clinique fan though?
Elise- Noisy Noyes I do like cliniques moisture surge but if I use it at all it’s the absolute last thing I put on to seal in the rest of my skincare because there’s so much dimethicone. Clinique doesn’t provide anti aging as they claim and they also use a lot of alcohol and some other not so great ingredients in their products. Also ddml has mineral oil in it and nothing good ever comes from petroleum products. If you have any questions about what does and doesn’t have lactic acid in it I gotchu. I’m also allergic and it Fucking sucks because it’s in EVERYTHING
Christine glam glow has given multiple people chemical burns from their mask. Everything is HIGHLY fragranced and has so many dyes. Your sister might know makeup but she doesn’t know shit about skincare if she’s using glam glow
The zero oil really dries me out, but the dr. Weills moisturizer rescued my face. The rice scrub is amazing as well gentle enough for daily use, exfoliates just enough. That first one you mentioned really gets rid of my redness in one day. Their orange cleanser is gentle enough for my skin.
While I think that they’re environmental initiatives are great, I feel like Origins is guilty of greenwashing. Natural ingredients are not inherently safer than “artificial” ones. Additionally, Origins isn’t cruelty free which really puts me off of their “earth friendly” vibe
Emma Whitaker It’s because they are an international company and a lot of countries REQUIRE animal testing to sell cosmetics. Origins does say they do not support animal testing and are trying to help ban it. But they are required to test... They’re still vegan except for honey and beeswax
Please do “The Truth about Estée Lauder”. After watching your reviews on Lancôme products, especially about the Advanced genifique serum and eye cream, I am shook since those were products I previously restock often. I am so curious about the Advance night repair line by Estée Lauder.
I use the Ginzing eye cream everyday before I put on my makeup. It seems to brighten my undereye area. I have normal to dry skin and I love it. Thanks Hyram!!!
Why are toy waiting for him to do a research for you?! Do it yourself. Plus, I believe he is getting paid by the brands/products he is promoting. Glycerin is not that great for skin lol it dries it out in certain conditions as well.
Aloha! I’ve been using Origins’ Clear Improvement Charcoal Mask once a week since the 1990s (!). It is the BEST product ever ... nearly *magical* 10/10.
Me in the first half of this vid knowing I have the charcoal mask scared he will diss it bc it’s the only thing that’s helping my acne: 😥 me after he says it’s the best product: 😌🤩
see, something most ppl don't understand is everyone has different things that work well for there skin but what I like bout our boi hyram is he rlly just gives advice and recommend things that work for the majority without just catering to just one skin type.
i don't know how involved you are in politics, but i'd love to hear your thoughts on Elizabeth Warren's skincare routine! (spoiler alert: she doesn't wash her face. ever.)
THANK YOU!! For this video!! I have just recently fallen in love with this brand and I have dry and sensitive skin and love their ultra hydrating ginzing moisturiser. Now I know that it May not be the best for long term so THANK YOU!
im so glad i watched this. i suffer from red skin and bought mega-Mushroom relief lotion because i read such good reviews for it..... everytime i would put it on, it would make my skin tingle which i figured was not good for my skin but since i already had bought the product i still gave it the benefit of doubt and kept using it NOT ANYMORE AFTER WATCHING THIS! you have proved as to why my face was probably tingling and that its most likely irritating and runing my skin. thank you!!
I literally searched “Hyram origins” yesterday to find a review about their overnight mask! Crazy that you posted today. These videos are extremely helpful.
Same but he is very against facial scrubs which help me a lot, so I don't know what to do:( I tried to use the cleansing brush with CeraVe wash and it didn't help as much as scrub 😭😭😭😭 I actually started to get acne
Alice Balayan oh no, you can try to use a chemical exfoliant, The Ordinary has one that Hyram recommends all the time! Idk what it’s called but I’m that is a red color( sorry if you want the name try to go to his The Ordinary video)
Hyram, “my friend”I have a prediction for you. You’re gonna be high up in this industry in a few years. The most listened to voice. When you’re gonna rule the skin care world from one of the most famous laboratories in Paris, don’t forget your folks and still feed us some truths. ❤️
If he is so uninformed, why are you watching him, darling?! Just go and buy directly the products that huge names sell, without knowing what shit you’re applying on your face!! Trust them because they have studied. I don’t know who’s the naive between the two of us. ✌🏼
I just found your channel and I’m so upset that I haven’t had you in my life sooner 😭💕 I’m binging all your videos to make up for lost time and taking your skincare advice to heart! 💕
That makes so much sense. I used to love to wear origins during the winter for extra help. It's been burning my face this winter when wearing it. Thanks!
I used Origins products for 15 or so years but stopped after (1) the products weren't addressing my skin concerns, (2) there was a lot of unnecessary fragrance in products, and (3) the price point became totally not worth it. Plus their cosmetic line also included fragrance and went through a lot of changes, including going away for periods of time. I had originally used Origins because their products didn't contain lanolin, which I'm allergic to, and were more widely available than The Body Shop. I'm so grateful that I've found the skincare nerd community and learned so much about ingredients, including the sensitizing effects of fragrance. I try to avoid essential oils because they trigger my migraines. Now that I know more about skincare ingredients, I'm shocked to read Origins ingredient lists and am glad I'm no longer using those products.
Same!! I just bought 3 skin care products because of TikTok and I just found out about Hyram a few days ago and I found out the products I got were baddd or weren’t the best. And now at 4am I am buying a whole new skincare routine because of Hyram 😂
Bree X I already know the “truth” behind products and brands. Thanks to dr.dray here on youtube, provides much more valuable information on products than he does. A dermatologist, not a so called specialist with zero certifications or education🤣
you should do a “the truth about Yes To” video. i know they’re a drugstore brand but i’m genuinely curious about them and if they’re worth it to keep looking into
I only ever bought their grapefruit dark circle eye cream and it smelled foul. I couldn't bring myself to use it at all. I also tried a charcoal mask and I'm just glad my skin isn't too sensitive, it stung and was so red afterwards, by some grace I helped it settle with gentle moisturising.
jayharker oh jeez. i use their grapefruit nighttime acne n it works, but nothing else as of rn. finding stuff that actually helps my skin sucks bc it’s such a hit & miss game since i can only buy stuff @ like target //:
I use the Origins Mega-Mushroom range and have just turned 50. My skin and my skin barrier are in perfect condition. For years I struggled with overly sensitive skin, issues with skin barrier, Rosacea, etc. While in the legal field, I am also a qualified Therapeutic Aromatherapist. I get that Hyram is concerned about the ingredients list. Any experienced Aromatherapist would agree, but certain essential oils are used for more than just fragrance. They have therapeutic benefits. And skincare is one area where aromatherapy indeed shines. Some of the essential oils used in the Mega-Mushroom range are incredibly gentle. You can't just lump all Citrus oils together as being harsh, for example. Mandarin (Citrus reticulata) is incredibly mild and calming on the skin, and has cytophylactic properties, which make it excellent for all manner of skin issues. The same can be said about Frankincense. These are two of the main essential oils, amongst others, used in the Mega-Mushroom range. Very often it's not the fragrance that causes issues with the skin, but the chemical components used. Manufactured components in other words. Yes, essential oils are also responsible for causing skin issues, but the correct blends and dosages are key to skincare perfection. And that is what I have personally experienced with Origins and especially the Mega-Mushroom range. Yes, the name "Mushroom" suggests that the product should contain primarily mushroom extract. However, one must note that these extracts are potent, and a little goes a long way. And they also work together with the other ingredients, like essential oils, to create a product that is designed to do what it says. My skin condition is proof of that.
🍄I totally agree. I use the Mushroom line as well, and my skin is excellent! I admire your knowledge with essential oils and I'm glad you posted your comment. I really frown on "expert" influencers turning folks against essential oils in skincare.
I’ve learned so much about skincare from your channel. The other day at work I overheard someone talking about how they were into “natural” skincare and were using lavender essential oil to calm their skin and I almost fell over and died.
Before watching Hyram's videos: I love Origins' Original Skin Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay! After watching Hyram's videos: Wow, that's a lot of essential oils...will not repurchase.
The frosty wash help me so much with my acne as of today I am free of acne and have pretty good facial skin and it is basically thanks to the frosty wash of origins not to dismiss your review but sometimes what works for you doesn’t work for other people. Overall people if your skin care works for you stick to it.
I just found your channel and I’m in LOVE. Origins is one of my fave brands and Checks and Balances is my ride or die face wash. I might have to find a new one. 😅
Hey Hyram, Love the “Truth About” series!💕 I was wondering if you could make a video about the absolute best/worst ingredients to look for in a skincare 👀
if you haven’t already i’d love to see you do a review on Paulas choice products as i’ve just ordered some and heard great reviews and have seen you talk about one of their products before and would love to know if it’s really good or not and worth the hype
CHRISGIBSONLIVE okay actually i just looked and i don’t think he’s dedicated a video to paula’s choice specifically although i could be wrong aha but i know he’s spoken about a product in a few videos but not done a whole brand review as i didn’t seem to find one
CHRISGIBSONLIVE oh yeah i remember that but he only mentions 1 product and just says research wise their website is really good but i was more talking about a full video dedicated to the whole brand itself with more than 1 product as he only talks about it for like 20 seconds if that makes sense aha but thank you for your help :)
Alcohol denat (a solvent) is the 5th ingredient..... YIKESSS I stopped reading after that because it’ll make your face look decent but oh man is that damaging
Margaret Sykora yeah I kinda looked through the ingredients and I saw that but I wasn’t sure if it was an ok alcohol or not. It makes me so sad because I love the way it feels but I’m gonna have to look into a different water cream
Sydney Whelan yeah unfortunately it’s denatured alcohol which is not a fatty alcohol. cetearyl alcohol or any other variations of this all of them start with c and are in front of the alcohol ate fatty alcohols and fine as skincare ingredients Personally I use calm water gel from Dermalogica which is great as long as you don’t have issues with lavender
@@quarantinelife. I FEEL THE SAME. I bought the Neutrogena water gel because it's been labeled as a dupe for the Tatcha Water Cream, but the fragrance is SO STRONG. And clingy. And cloying. And headache inducing.
Thank you for this! I tried the Ginzing eye cream and noticed that it would temporarily lighten my dark circles, but so many times my eyes would get red and irritated. Crazy they get away with charging such a premium price.
I am still using all of these products, they work for me haha I’ve got sensitive skin, and haven’t had any adverse reactions. I think since I’ve started using origins products my skin has improved in quality. But thank you for the information and quality list of alternatives I’ll have to check them out.

Honestly, Origins has forever changed my life. I had been on a few medications for a while, and had tried multiple products to even not washing my face. Origins has changed my life !!!
caroline j which products are you currently using from Origins? I do like the brand but have no idea where to even start from xx
Selina Rose mega mushroom lotion & serum
Me too girl!
YYH christine he just crapped abt that tho
@@mahalakshmi123 I believe everybody skin is different. I've been using Origins since 2018. It works amazing for me.
I just got the checks and balances face wash and I find that it actually is really balancing for my very oily skin, which can get dried out really easily if a cleanser is too stripping, thus making me even more extra oily.
i love the origins so i hope this video won’t hurt me lmao
edit: 1 minute into the video and it doesn’t look very bright for me
Mai Celine Thorbjørnsen I fear this did not end well for you. Hope the hunt for new skincare is easier with Hyram’s help?
@@cinnamonraw3590 It actually wasn't that bad! I use the charcoal face mask, the eye cream and the overnight sleeping mask (not mentioned so idk if that's a nono or not). So the products I use are among the better ones at least! But skincare is DEFINITELY easier now with Hyram's help
I’ve been using Origins skincare for more than 3 months and it does magic on my face! decrease the redness and whenever i have a breakout I’ll just use a cotton pad and apply the lotions.
Same 😭😭😭
Last time I was this early was when I was born prematurely 😂😂❤️❤️ love you hyram
OH MY GOD
Hyram Omg you know I exist 😭😭😂❤️❤️
Lmao

omg 😂😂😂
I see it, I click. I love how you’ve blown up just recently! You deserve everything and more! You helped me and so many others!
Aw thank you babe!! I appreciate it ❤
Hyram ❤️
@woo hoo he was!! i used to think "why is his sub count only 300k, his videos are perfect for everyone rn" like i didnt even realize he hit 611k thats insane
Someone as deserving as him shouldn’t expect anything different. He takes his highly educational videos that teach all of us a lot about skincare, and makes them fun and interactive, and I think THAT is the key to RUclips.
It’s amazing. I became a fan only recently, and he has just blown up since I started watching... its awesome. 🥳
When I saw the photo for my clay mask in your thumbnail, I was like NOOO!!! Because it's fucking brilliant and SO much cheaper than all the fancy clay masques, so I was really happy when it went on your good list. Every time I use it, my skin looks like I've had a full facial.
Me: using all of these products acting like my skin getting “worse” is just what happens before it gets better 🥺
Their regular water gel isn’t fragrance free 😩 but the one for extra dry skin is fragrance free. I can’t use it though cause I’m oily
@Kelly Oconnor me too!
I wanna see a neutrogena so bad!!
My skin has improved so much since watching you!
My combo skin routine:
- simple micellar wash or YTP kale wash depending on how dry my skin is that day
- Sunday Riley good genes lactic acid Chem exfoliant (I got a big free sample) when I need it
- cerave eye cream
- FAB ultra repair cream for the winter and I have a sample of the YTP adaptogen cream
- khiels super fluid 50 spf (it’s the chemical one but my partner got it free from work so I’m going to use it up and then get a new sunscreen)
Extras:
- the ordinary AHA BHA red mask 1 time a week
- the ordinary SA for blemishes
- the ordinary HA on my t-zone and chin for oil control
- the ordinary alpha albutrin for dark spots let behind from spots (works SO well)
This list is longer than my essays. :D
I you like to see a "The truth about Innisfree" especially their green tea line
Omg I bought the serum for like 20 bucks because supposedly it's supposed to be amazing but it did not help my skin at all 😤 I was sooo dissatisfied and disappointed
I think I was allergic to their foaming wash because parts of my face would burn afterwards
I hate that line products of Innisfree, I got pimples after using the whole set, nightmare
If you watch truth about the body shop he talks about their tea tree line. He would probably say similar things 😊
Alyssa Leggett green tea and tea tree are not the same thing.
omg wanna see truth about shiseido so bad!
Me too
Such a late reply haha but I heard they use a lot of alcohol in their products so I think Hyram wouldn’t approve
Love Shiseido
Gabriela Garcez Thanks for the recommendation the brand looks amazing 😍
Where can you find it in the US? I can only find their site in German.
Good to know 😍👏🏼😁
Junglück is 🔥🔥🔥
oha, die kenne ich noch garnicht. danke für die empfehlung!
Lil list of brands I'd love to see you add to your "The Truth about..." series: Clinique, Tula and GlamGlow!
Elise- Noisy Noyes Clinique 👎🏼
Tula 👍🏼 (if you aren’t lactose intolerant because you’re more likely to have an allergy to lactic acid)
Glam glow RUN AWAY
@@Donteverlook4videos What is it with glam glow? My sister hyps them, but they are too expensive for my tast. She claims to know much about beauty.
Christine glam glow has given multiple people chemical burns from their mask. Everything is HIGHLY fragranced and has so many dyes. Your sister might know makeup but she doesn’t know shit about skincare if she’s using glam glow
I really love how much he educates him self to be able to speak on a topic. It’s really refreshing to watch some one as fast pace and educated 💞
I’d love to see “the truth about Boscia”
Yes! Specifically their cactus water moisturizer
I’ve been wishing for this and I’m taking it as every sign that 2020 is gonna be irritation free on all counts
MANIFESTATION ❤
Hyram pleaseeee do the truth about murad and ole henriksen, and farmacy
While I think that they’re environmental initiatives are great, I feel like Origins is guilty of greenwashing. Natural ingredients are not inherently safer than “artificial” ones. Additionally, Origins isn’t cruelty free which really puts me off of their “earth friendly” vibe
the truth of skincare brands vers their marketing is really something.
Emma Whitaker It’s because they are an international company and a lot of countries REQUIRE animal testing to sell cosmetics. Origins does say they do not support animal testing and are trying to help ban it. But they are required to test... They’re still vegan except for honey and beeswax
I knew it, I don't even care about the video now. I am still watching cause Hyram 💚
Please do “The Truth about Estée Lauder”. After watching your reviews on Lancôme products, especially about the Advanced genifique serum and eye cream, I am shook since those were products I previously restock often. I am so curious about the Advance night repair line by Estée Lauder.
all the women im my family used EL - I'm interested in what his opinion is on this stuff myself.
Yes! I love EL (20+ year user) but since Hyram, I am totally questioning everything!
Animal testing
I use the Ginzing eye cream everyday before I put on my makeup. It seems to brighten my undereye area. I have normal to dry skin and I love it. Thanks Hyram!!!

After watching this channel I've almost completely switched over to The Ordinary.
video ideas! (i know you get enough already)

THANK YOU!! For this video!! I have just recently fallen in love with this brand and I have dry and sensitive skin and love their ultra hydrating ginzing moisturiser. Now I know that it May not be the best for long term so THANK YOU!
Their “Gin-zing” citrusy products made me break out like crazy in little bumps. Never again. Loved their Checks and Balances wash though.
Oh no! I'm so sorry boo ❤
Their checks and balances wash does wonders for my skin tbh
Checks and Balances ruined my face. Might as well have washed my face with toothpaste the way it dried me out.
Amy Bahre - it can definitely be drying. I have oily skin myself. I use the Neogen Blueberry Foaming Cleanser now 😄
TheJewelTheory I’ve tried 3 of their product and so far all 3 have not agreed with my skin. I’ve just given up on the brand
im so glad i watched this. i suffer from red skin and bought mega-Mushroom relief lotion because i read such good reviews for it.....
everytime i would put it on, it would make my skin tingle which i figured was not good for my skin but since i already had bought the product i still gave it the benefit of doubt and kept using it
NOT ANYMORE AFTER WATCHING THIS! you have proved as to why my face was probably tingling and that its most likely irritating and runing my skin. thank you!!
I literally searched “Hyram origins” yesterday to find a review about their overnight mask! Crazy that you posted today. These videos are extremely helpful.

You are naive. Labs hire people with real knowledge. education in sciences , not opinions.

Go find a dermatologist . This guy is giving you his opinion . He does not know more than you do if you do your own research.
A “truth about” I’d LOVE to see is 111skin. I know their markup is INSANE, but I wanna see what you think about the products.
For sure. They have a serum with an ingredients list i am dying to know about. Ive done some research myself on it and it looks so interesting.
I literally have to throw away my whole skin care routine and start over.. wtf 😭

I feel like every “truth” video is just saying a product has fragrance in it ...💀
It can get a bit repetitive but I still watch
I mean, fragrance is awful for your skin, so...yeah.
Bree X I already know the “truth” behind products and brands. Thanks to dr.dray here on youtube, provides much more valuable information on products than he does. A dermatologist, not a so called specialist with zero certifications or education🤣
Max I know, I know about ingredients and products, so no need to watch a video about every brand saying the same thing
So many companies use fragrance, which is disappointing... It does get repetitive and that's their fault for making products with sketchy ingredients.
you should do a “the truth about Yes To” video. i know they’re a drugstore brand but i’m genuinely curious about them and if they’re worth it to keep looking into
I only ever bought their grapefruit dark circle eye cream and it smelled foul. I couldn't bring myself to use it at all. I also tried a charcoal mask and I'm just glad my skin isn't too sensitive, it stung and was so red afterwards, by some grace I helped it settle with gentle moisturising.

I love how honest u r w all ur review videos
I’ve learned so much about skincare from your channel. The other day at work I overheard someone talking about how they were into “natural” skincare and were using lavender essential oil to calm their skin and I almost fell over and died.

Hey Hyram, Love the “Truth About” series!💕
I was wondering if you could make a video about the absolute best/worst ingredients to look for in a skincare 👀
if you haven’t already i’d love to see you do a review on Paulas choice products as i’ve just ordered some and heard great reviews and have seen you talk about one of their products before and would love to know if it’s really good or not and worth the hype
Hi - check his playlists - I believe he has a video on Paulas Choice 😎
CHRISGIBSONLIVE thankyou i’ll check now! i wasn’t 100% sure if he already done it or not so just thought i’d ask ahah
CHRISGIBSONLIVE okay actually i just looked and i don’t think he’s dedicated a video to paula’s choice specifically although i could be wrong aha but i know he’s spoken about a product in a few videos but not done a whole brand review as i didn’t seem to find one
@@shaaazzzz he included it in his My Top Skin Care Brands of All Time Video... September 4 2019. Hope that helps you 😎
CHRISGIBSONLIVE oh yeah i remember that but he only mentions 1 product and just says research wise their website is really good but i was more talking about a full video dedicated to the whole brand itself with more than 1 product as he only talks about it for like 20 seconds if that makes sense aha but thank you for your help :)
Can you do a “truth about” belif? I LOVE their aqua bomb moisturizer but it smells SO GOOD so I know it’s probably not good for my skin 😂😅
It's the same as Neutrogena water gel but half of the price lmao
Alcohol denat (a solvent) is the 5th ingredient..... YIKESSS
I stopped reading after that because it’ll make your face look decent but oh man is that damaging
Margaret Sykora yeah I kinda looked through the ingredients and I saw that but I wasn’t sure if it was an ok alcohol or not. It makes me so sad because I love the way it feels but I’m gonna have to look into a different water cream
Sydney Whelan yeah unfortunately it’s denatured alcohol which is not a fatty alcohol.
cetearyl alcohol or any other variations of this all of them start with c and are in front of the alcohol ate fatty alcohols and fine as skincare ingredients
Personally I use calm water gel from Dermalogica which is great as long as you don’t have issues with lavender
