It definitely helps when you know how to work on your own equipment. I've met a few guys that don't even change their own oil 🤦♂️ I couldn't believe that lol. Great video
yes and I have even seen a video of a guy who couldn't even change a wheel without causing $800 in damages because he put the lug nuts on backward. why he wouldn't look at the other wheel or notice the taper didn't fit the bevel or notice absence of oxidation on the taper or notice a wobble from lug centric nuts not properly installed is beyond me but why he gets 10k views daily to demonstrate is unbelievable.
on the spindle, couldnt you drill and tap for a grease zerk on there? in the area between the bearings? if those are sealed bearings at least it would get a little in between them and the shaft and keep it from ceasing

@@sclawns5257 😂😂😂😂 oh yes, trust me I know what your talking about. Maybe soon our channels will get 10K views 😂
Wow 3 times a year. You really did a nice job putting them bearings in there. Great video brother.
Thanks. It comes with running 20 year old mowers but they are better than the new ones though
@@sclawns5257 Your welcome bud. Oh that is true the older mowers are better than the newer ones I totally agree Scott.
Try using some Timken or national bearings. Sounds like your buying knock off bearings
I notice you didn't pack your bearings with grease. Most fork castors require this but I'm not familiar with Hustler. Thanks for the video

you could and that would keep it from rusting but the mowers I have are 20 years old and already rusted from prior owners.
@@sclawns5257 ah that makes sense lol
Thanks for Sharing I was wondering how long the spindle bearings last Im going to service mine and add a grease fitting into it 👍
That mower has been thru hell it looks like
Yea it’s been around for a while
Where you order those bearings?
Do you not change the races too?
Yes I change whole bearing
Ok jolly good 👍
May i ask why not just heat the bearing race off the fork shaft ?
because my oxy and acetaline tanks cost to much to refill so I save them for more important stuff. cutting wheels are cheap.
👍✌
Good video thanks! Do you know anyone with a good stander for sale like 48"
No I don’t but if I see one I will let you know
