One of my favorite male singers. Wasn't bad on the eyes either. This man never reached the pinnacle that his voice elecated him too, but he started in the 40's and was active until the 90s. Unfortunate for him he had to compete with Sam Cooke, Fran inatra, Johnny Hartman, Joe Willams, and so many others. It was amazing the beautiful male voices of those eras. With deep devotion.
Well said. My first touch with Mr. Prysock was the album with Count Basie ('65? '66?), and love at first hear. Drove me to dig out older stuff, and keep up with later releases. (And though I'm a guy into gals, I agree, not bad at all on the eyes :-)) (And I'll take baritone and bass over tenor every day.)
What a wonderfully sensuous performer. My husband and I had him over for dinner the day after he performed at the Viking Club in Cincinnati years ago. My singing group sang some background vocals for him at King Recording Studio earlier that week.
Oooo yeah...this song all related to how I feel now.Since I fell for you, there is always only you in my mind for every single moment of the day...since I fell for you!!!😍😍😍❤❤❤ very gooood song and lyrics...👌👍👍👍
GREW UP ON THE FINE ORIGINAL VERSION BY LENNY WELCH, BUT PRYSOCK'S IMMORTAL BARITONE VOICE TRUMPS ALL OTHER VERSIONS. YET ANOTHER MAGNIFICENT SONG THAT THE IMMORTAL BROOK BENTON FAILED TO RECORD.🥺
There will never be another like him! Good
Lawd!
Have loved this voice for decades!! And such a gorgeous man - wow!! Sure miss him on this earth...
He was one of the most highly regarded crooners in my country when we were growing up, Jamaica, still a favorite there.
THANK YOU I MISS ARTHUR

Thank you very much dear Ahmad, have a nice week. Greetings
I've known this song only through the Bonnie Raitt version until now.
There's a lot of beautiful versions including this one.
I grew on up the Lenny Welch version which is one of the best imo.
Yeahhhhhhh
