I test drove the custom trail boss with the 2.7 last week and although the little turbo sound was cool it had a couple rough shifts. I test drove the diesel rst that was nice. The new interior is pretty slick.
New interiors are definitely a huge upgrade. I also drove both the 2.7 and diesel when I was shopping around. 2.7 had way more power than I expected, still couldn’t get a 4 banger in a truck. I like the diesel, just couldn’t get past it’s awful sound.
I was just looking at mine this afternoon, and I feel the same way you do! I know I could get quite a bit more out of mine now than when I bought it, but nothing really grabs me that's out there unless I could go to a Ram TRX but why? I own my truck, no payments is nice, I've still got a little over two years of warranty left, so why would I do it, just to get the same thing I've got now, but a year or two newer? No thanks, ill just continue to love the truck I'm in now, and continue to add little things here and there, to make it a one of a kind truck, that's suited to my specific taste! I think my window sticker was about the same as yours in 2021, and I know I could get $51,000 for it right now, and the truck market isn't showing any signs of improving the new truck market where tbe value is going to drop on these, so yup, I'm keeping mine too!
Still cant get over how i almost bought a 3 yr old truck with 60,000+ miles for $51,000 back in may of 2021. But instead got my 21 Cherry Red CTB for $49,000! Lovin my Fiona!
@@limitedslipautomotive 2017 Silverado LT with the 6.2L...but i couldnt fit in it because it had a sun roof. 😆 That saved me from test driving it, so the salesman introduced me to the same colored CTB as yours, but i knew i wanted red, so i looked around and found my baby.
The high values make you want to trade, until you realize you need to pay more for a newer truck.
If only I had an old truck.. Say an 89 F-350 that I could daily for a while. Oh wait.
Who would’ve though trucks would be appreciating in value
Thought it woulda taken 80 or so years, but no complaints!
I like the looks but not a huge fan of the inside
I agree, inside is hugely upgraded on the newer models. Regardless, it all does the same thing in the end.

I 100% agree. Cant fathom letting go of something I thoroughly enjoy. Absolutely love my truck.
Carmax offered me 41 and some change only if I removed my 6in lift and brought it back stock
Interesting offer… Make them remove the lift and see how it goes for them hahah.

I got a dashmat for my 2021 custom trail boss and it eliminates 95%+ of the windshield glare
What color did you go with?
@@limitedslipautomotive I got the black one
