I just recently discovered your channel and I am so glad I did. I watched all your videos and now I can't wait for new ones! Thank you for making those videos, they are really great
Thank you for sharing. I subscribe because like others I enjoy your content. Wishing you and yours Happy Holidays and look forward to another inspirational year from you.
Nice effects. Rusted and burnt out vehicles are an other level of painting and effects like figures. It needs a different approach with some different technics. I watch you and other You Tube builders for the technics and styles you guys use and to also see what other modelers are building. It is a great way to see what the community of model building is doing, especially when you don't know of many other builders in your area. Thanks for the video. Keep up the great work and look forward to the next project.
I really appropriate it. The biggest reason I started this channel was to be more involved in the community since I too do not know many builders in my area. Thanks for the support!
@@mattockmodels No problem. I have been watching you since your first Panzer 38t and have enjoyed your videos. I have built models since I was 10yrs old, but had a nearly 2 decade hiatus and have only been back a little over 2 years. A lot in the hobby changed. Mostly it grew. I got a 3D printer 6 months ago and have used it to print files, to making my own parts and enhancements to my own models. I have a BMP 3E that I intend to do as knocked out as well. More abandoned but still. Hit me up if you want to chat. I think I know your plan for next year. If so, I'm in.
I'm in the same boat as you guys 😄 I only did not make the decision yet to buy a 3D printer because I am afraid that it will be a second hobby on its own. But if one of you think it's worth it for the scale modeling hobby, please persuade me 😄
@@Eekhorn So yea, it is another hobby. I use mine for model enhancement, adding missing details, replacing some photo etch that looks to flat, modify parts and even doing partial interiors to complete interiors. I even use it to replaced broken or lost parts. I have even done two of my own models with it. It will suck you in. It can be pretty fun to tinker with a 3D printer. I would say you could do a small 4k printer on the cheap since DLP printers are starting to come out. I have the Photon 6k, but I got a deal on it. I have enjoyed mine and do plan to get a newer one sometime in 2023. Probably the DLP.

Looking good, very nice weathering.
This is really good man!
Enjoyed the video. Nice effects mate
Looks great. I bet it will truly look fantastic with pigments applied! 👍🏻
I think that's my plan for when it's finally set in place in the diorama. That way I'm done touching it!🤣
Lovely!😀👍

Volume is a lot lower for the main portion of the video, the intro bit was good but after that it was too quiet.
Thanks for the feedback, I'll tweak that for the next videos!
what happened to the abrams?
It's sitting on the shelf behind me. Not on the highway base, I'd like to revisit that at some point and finish it up though, so we'll see.
Is this DML models
Yup
Turned mine into an incense burner
🤣 It does look like that! No i can't unsee it!
@@mattockmodels yours looks really good!! But mine has active smoke and smells like one of my favorite old gurl friends 🤔
А ремни на башне после пожара целые остались🤔
🤣You saw it! Yes I completely missed it until I was into the painting! I didn't have time to go back and fix it. Good eye!
WHY DESTROYED?!
This depicts an actual BMP2. It was a good study for burnt techniques. You can find the side by side of the reference and diorama on my Instagram.
When I win lotto I'm going to make you an offer you can't refuse to move on from that cheesy RUclips anime music. You'll be rich!
🤣 its not a great selection for sure! Thanks for watching anyway!
