Supposed Metro Open Day_Assorted Activities_ 4/08/24..

The Sydenham Metro was supposed to open on August 4th. I still went out that day and did an assorted range of activities including the initial visit to Sydenham where I got some video and shots of te station and the testing Metros.
During my videoing through the glass doors, the staff kindly opened the glass door for me as you will notice, partway through the videos and shots.
After the Metro visit I went back to Dulwich Hill to check out all the improvements to Dulwich Hill station in preparation for the eventual continuation of the Metro through to Bankstown.
I am pleased to see the lifts finally got done at Dulwich Hill. You will see improvements of footpaths and the new overbridge that has gone in, there. A lovely cafe now closed you will see a photo of. They did a great egg and bacon with bbq sauce roll, there I was sad to not enjoy again.
I finished up at Central after an attempt at some video of the Light Rail from Dulwich Hill. I got too tired holding up the camera from my position a bit back from the driver.
