@@travellerinterrupted2519 thank you for that. I’m contemplating a shorter trip, perhaps 3 0r 4 weeks , setting off from Birmingham in then next 2 weeks. Do you think it’d too late in the year now? I can’t seem to get any views of others. Your advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
@@DS-fo4edWith the Autumnal weather coming it will get a lot colder and particularly the further North you go. Perhaps concentrate your trip to the South of Norway for this time, you might get better weather. Have a great time.
Great videos, I am planning road trip to Norway this June, and preparation for that brings me to your vlog. A lot of places and beautiful country. I am planning to travel with electric car, so could be more stressful finding places to charge on this scenic routes. One possibility is to charge over night when camping, but some camp sites doesn't allow that, what is your experience? On each start of the video you have animation depicting the route covering, how did you made that? Thanks.
Hi, Norway has a huge number of electric vehicles on the road so they must have a good charging infrastructure though we have not used it ourselves. We use an App called TravelBoast for the animations, it’s pretty easy to use and the basic version is free. Have a great trip, it’s a beautiful country with lovely people.
Hi guys can you please help me we are going to Norway in April I’m struggling with getting a road and ferry tag . I have tried the companies listed on Auto pass for example Flyte I’m struggling with this company as o do not understand the part where they ask what euro rating is it then list loads of numbers that mean nothing to me if there was just a box say for euro 6 I would understand. I’m struggling with another firm I changed to English then as I go to order a tag it’s in Norwegian. Can I ask who you used for your trip ? Many thanks
Hi Paul, I remember also having some trouble and ended up using SkyttelPASS which worked very well . I was also able to set up a ferry pass through them but struggled to make the initial payment to the ferry part, it had to be a bank transfer rather than a credit card, so didn’t get the big ferry discounts. We used a lot of ferries so I really should have persevered and saved some money.
Great filming
Excellent video, gorgeous scenery but OMG all those miles to get there! Your husband is a hero 🦸
Thank you so much, the driving to the far north was a bit of a mission but definitely worth it. We took lots of breaks 😀
I've never been this far north and I'm Norwegian 🙂, but there will be a trip there when I retire and it won't be long.
Your country is beautiful and it has made us feel very welcome. I hope you will be off exploring the far north soon, it is stunning 😀
Great video. What month did you set off on your travels?
Thank you so much, we left home in June and returned home at the end of August 😀
