    You know it's a good video when you need to go over it a few times to understand it all. Best video ever from Moss Motors.
    Bravo!

    Congratulations for the great explanation. I'm an inexperienced technician as well and always knew this problem was caused by bad ground, but after watching this video I now know exactly what's going on on the cirtcuit. Now I can try some different approaches to try and fix future problems. Thanks a lot. Again, congratulations for the great job explaining the issue. You just helped one more person.

    I work with microchips day in and day out, yet enjoyed the explanation / demonstration very much. Good job. :)

    These early videos we uploaded with only one audio channel. Audio is working though.

    First thank you for the video, you're a very good teacher. I have a question, I followed every single thing you said, but had one puzzling question. I simulated the same set up and it worked the same way with one exception which is the drawing. The drawing to me makes perfect sense I'm puzzled though with the route you say the ground travelled after it was disconnected. With mine tire's no ground to travel back through so the only route is getting ground through the hot side, through the connection through the other light then to the other ground. There was only two grounds correct? The one that was disconnected shouldn't be able to run back through the ground of the brake light since internally it's shared. Clear this up for me please and thank you.

    I think this in some way may answer a puzzling situation that I have. I had tail light that would not working by mistake a found power was where the ground should be. I had a short to power the wires were very old. I changed it out and got a new harness. It worked perfectly for threee years but now its doing the exact same thing. It's showing 12v where I should have ground the only problem is there's no break in the wire this time. If I add ground the light turn on and no longer reads positive power. Please help I'm trying to understand why.

    A small thing that would make all your videos much better. Have the technician work behind the product. His hands and arms obscure the items of interest including the process.

    Hey Mossmotors here is my issue on my 63 tr4....everything works...Headlights fine...indicators fine...brakelights fine but when I have headlights on and I step on brakes, my left indicator light dimly glows. It doesn't blink or anything just dimly glows. By watching this video I obviously have a ground issue but I'm unsure where to start. And since everything works I really haven't tried to figure out whats wrong. Any assistance from anyone would be appreciated. Just weird everything works

    I'm guessing the 1 thumb-down is from someone who couldn't find his/her bad ground lol

    What's a clearance lamp?

    • @stopxthisxfall
      @stopxthisxfall 5 лет назад

      It's the lamps on the front and back of the vehicle, usually on the fender. It's usually reflective now at night, but I imagine it's so you can tell in the dark that you're clear of the front and back of another vehicle
