Thank you, thank you, thank you Pastor Matt for presenting this story from the front end. Goin thru a difficult time in my life right now, asking where God is, a lot of message out there about the back end, yeah, that's nice to hear, but, man, it's hard going thru the tunnel, wanting to give up many times.

I am only about 2 minutes into this and already there have been statements that don’t match the scripture.
    (1) In the scripture, John 11 refers to Mary as the one who poured perfume on Jesus feet (not wet his feet with her tears as Chandler says)
    (2) Also in this passage, Jesus did not say “He (Lazarus) is *sick* and then the disciples said oh he will get better. he said “he is sleeping and I’m going to wake him up”. It’s *not* the same.
Chandler makes a big deal if “if you haven’t been in church or you don’t know scripture” but seems maybe he needs to check it himself. This is why we need to READ THE BIBLE FOR YOURSELF. I don’t really want to listen to anything else he has to say if he can’t even get the simple story facts correct.

      Luke 7:37-39; Matthew 26:6-13; Mark 14:3-9; John 12:1-8
These are the references to the anointing of Jesus by Mary and it does say that she wept and wet his feet in the Luke version.
I'm not sure where you got the point. He was pretty clear about the story, that Jesus knew that Lazarus was ill, his illness would lead to the glorification of God, Lazarus dies, Jesus tells them he was sleeping, the disciples misunderstand, Jesus corrects them (after a sigh as Chandler would say)...
"Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep, but I go to awaken him.” 12 The disciples said to him, “Lord, if he has fallen asleep, he will recover.” 13 Now Jesus had spoken of his death, but they thought that he meant taking rest in sleep. 14 Then Jesus told them plainly, “Lazarus has died," John 11:11-14. here's the scripture that pretty much lines up with what he said.
I don't normally call people out for stuff, but your claim to read the Bible for yourself rings true. If you had went and actually looked at the scripture maybe you wouldn't have misunderstood what he said. Maybe you just misheard and never went back to correct yourself. I don't know, but your statements are false and every scripture Chandler says in the video aligns with the Bible.

unfortunately, there are many people who have only read a handful of the bible and claim to be knowledgeable, judging all those who have a good relationship with their father's words.
