I actually ordered 2 d series, the a10, and the m1 rail when i was looking for a new wallet, and i like the M1 rail the best. The most capacity with the smallest footprint for me. I gave the others away at christmas gifts lol.
I’d agree with the bifold version. For the single pocket version it’ll fit just fine in normal pockets. It’s no bigger than the original A10 with a pocket adapter in the rail.
I love my A-10 SPEC OP. actually like it better than my M1 RAIL. I do have the bi fold attachment and besides the little bit of bulk, it's highly functional for my needs. I have the MC01 money clip also when I do have large amounts of bills and I use the band on the back to hold my business cards. This is my 3rd Dango wallet love of them, but the A10 SPEC OP withe bi fold attachment is by far my favorite. Highly recommend this one
Just ordered this wallet as my first from Dango. Really wished that offered leather option for the Spec Ops. I am hoping the bifold is slimmer when the Multi-tool adapter is removed (95% dailys use). If not, I may opt to purchase the single pocket to slim it down. As a whole, the price of the bifold version just offered more value. In a wishful world, leather option would be great (seen some unfavorable reviews on the Dtex) and a bare or anodized frame (eventually the Cerokote will wear)... I would've chosen the single pocket version if it had the clasp. The clasps covers most of any tool I would ever need. Great review. You saved me a lot of money with the CT20 code. Plus, you absolutely covered everything about these wallets to help me understand them and what I wanted. I am going from an over priced traditional Coach wallet to one of these. Only worry is loading the flexibility of traditional leather to a solid frame version with not give. Thanks.
Man I can't make my mind up between the Dango, The Code 118 Stealth, or the Rossm wallet. So many options. I have an old school Batman wallet my kiddos got me for Christmas a few yrs back. It's time to upgrade cuz it's finally falling apart. Great review though!!
@@ChrispyThings well, since I have a Batman wallet I think maybe the coolest thing would be to get the Dango, I feel like if Batman had a wallet it would be that one except for fully blacked out. 😂
Honestly after buying the m1 with the two multi tools in 4 pocket bifold in whiskey brown leather, the a10 spec ops burnt bronze bifold , the do3 in satin silver and black leather. m1 is my favorite I like the band that holds the money. better than the hidden pocket on the A10 . I just switched from the trayvax og2 in blue I've carried since 2016 or so . The m1 is great. I just ordered the dtex bifold and black screws to switch it over .
Chrispy, there is a major design flaw with the Bifold Spec Ops. The Pry end of the Multi-tool rubs against the clasp that holds the Bifold closed. There are 2 places to insert the clasp, in either config, the Pry end of the tool will rub against the nylon fabric of the clasp causing it to wear out prematurely. Oh no... 😢 I bought the Spec Ops A10 in the Bifold version and added the single pocket adaptor as the wallet is a lot thinner in this config.
Do the pocket adapter’s slide off really easy? I’m nervous that I will have this in a pocket and go to grab my wallet and the pocket adapter comes right now the rail. Btw, great video!
What do you do with the pocket that comes with the original A10, when you get the bifold? There is no space for the pocket in the bifold. I just got an A10 Spec Ops, and I don't know if I missed something. Thanks.
With the bifold could also put the money clip in the middle and fold your cash? I have the M1 maverick but the leather has done its justice looking to upgrade to this
Instead of using the multi tool if you take it out would additional cards fit in there & if so would they fit in securely? Is that compartment for bills large enough to fit more cards?
Hi, is the blackops A10 compatible with the pocket clip to store some money horizontally? And also since i have the original A10 chassis in Titanium, can we swap the faceplate with the black ops version ?
I’m not sure what you mean with the first question. Regarding the faceplate, I don’t believe it can be interchanged since the plate on the Spec Ops is made specifically to hold the mt05
That bifold looks niiiice. But I'd prefer my M1 Maverick. Yet still I'm thinking about getting that too one day. What's your favorite Dango wallet and why?
Good review! I want to like Dango’s wallets but they are too much. If you need a Fanny pack or cargo shorts to carry your wallet then u may have an issue.

I have two new walls for RUclips check out. When is the Durango s2 stealth wallet, and the other one is the unholy trayvax contour wallet what are your comments on.
Very annoying wallet to use. I had it for a few days and immediately returned it. The slide piece (pull pocket) continually would come off when accessing my wallet. I had to continually remember to slide the entire thing into my pocket with the tension direction keeping it slide inward to keep it from coming off. I used to really enjoy Dango because they were true minimalist wallets. Now they’re chonks and becoming even bigger chonks when you want to attach accessories to fit even more stuff.
I'll never spend another nickel with Dango. They sent me the wrong wallet, then refused to respond to a single communication I sent them over a 2-week period. They're a garbage company selling garbage products. Never got a refund. Never got an exchange. Never heard a word back from them ... EVER. I hope they go bankrupt.
@@ChrispyThings If in case we need to change the backplate for The A 10 spec ops wallet can the tool plate be removed and add another backplate like the walnut backplate or the black G10 backplate

If say the hook on the multi-tool stabbing you is your fault and not a design flaw but in my opinion it is a design flaw. If someone is able to stab themselves getting the tool out without doing anything outrageous, there's a problem with the way it's designed. All you did was have your thumb slightly angled...
I said it was my fault because I didn’t pay attention to how the multitool was designed and placed in the wallet. What you’re saying is if I cut my thumb on a knife, the knife is a bad design because it’s sharp and pointy.
We can agree to disagree but the tool and the wallet is supposed to work together. Alone sure we can't say either of them (the wallet or tool) is flawed but dango is selling it as a combo. It shouldn't be dangerous to take the tool out unless you did something crazy. Again, it's not like you just decided to put a random tool in the wallet and therefore it's not the company's fault. The design flaw is having a wallet that requires you to pull the tool out from above while also having a hook pointed in the same direction.
I don't like it. The military does too much for simple things like the names of items. I've been looking at wallets lately because I lost my last one & this is not what I would even consider. It's to big compared to others, you can only slide one car at a time to choose from in that acs10wd40 area. The multi tool seems so useless to me & one end sticks out so much it looks like it would rip you pockets. I see bikers & 1st responders as the people who would love this. Not the average person.
According to Dango, no. I’ve personally never tested that and it’s something I won’t test. But I can imagine any issues taking a metal wallet on to a plane as long as the multitool is left at home
Been using the OG A10 for over a year. Just ordered the bifold attachment and can’t wait to upgrade

Great video as always. The wallets look cool, but they a little on the bulky side.
Yeah i had ordered a dango before and returned it back because it feels like your stuffing in a brick inside your pocket
Bifold just bought one can’t wait it will be here for my birthday
Good review. One question: will the pocket clip work with the bifold?
Yes, a blackout that's not. Kinda cool I guess if you don't mind the bulk but I prefer more slimline style wallet.
Yeah. I’d say that this isn’t even an everyday carry but more of a wallet I’d carry for work or on a road trip just to have that MT05 close by

@@ChrispyThings well, since I have a Batman wallet I think maybe the coolest thing would be to get the Dango, I feel like if Batman had a wallet it would be that one except for fully blacked out. 😂
