i understand why sonnen has some haters, but in a way he is my hero. look at everyone laughing at him when he says he going to beat silva. He was a huge underdog in that fight. yet he went out there and won 4 1/2 half rounds and landed more strikes on silva than silva's last 12 oppenents COMBINED. Even though Sonnen dominated and scored point during 4 rounds, he couldn't make a scracth in Silva. The punches Silva landed from the guard were more damaging then any of Sonnen's strikes. Silva wanted to win via jiu jitsu, as he had declared befored the fight. He took that long because Chael is difficult to submit, but he did it anyway, as he said he would.
Chael says "I'm the tougher guy" well it looks like Silva was the tougher guy because the main thing I remember from that fight is sonnen tapping. Nice run Sonnen...
