Techno, allow me to explain how people accidently drop their swords. In attempt to quickly hit Key _1_ (which is the hotbar slot for their sword), they instead hit _Q_, which is _drop item_. Looking at a qwerty keyboard, we see that *1* and *Q* are very close to eachother. This does not mean that it's OK. If you make this mistake regularly, seek medical attention.
