I think my favorite thing in this series is when NTE ignores the route he's supposed to run, then complains when the QB doesn't throw to him. "Didn't you see I was wide open?!?" I mean, the QB probably did look for you, where you were supposed to be, and then was like "...uh, where's Zak?".
Funny thing is qbs almost never care they just go “here take the ball”

My headcanon is that Papa Jeff Warren was always a pretty stern and demanding sports dad that Zak was never able to live up to, so Zak doesn't expect him to be at his games, but secretly in stands is Jeff watching his boy make those TDs with a little smile on his face
