My 3 year old son is struggling to sleep because of his nasty cold so I put your video on the telly so we could snuggle in bed with snacks and i have never seen him so chilled out, he kept shouting “I love him” “what’s hims name” 😂😂 I think we’ll binge watch a few of your videos together til he’s tired enough to sleep! He also wants a “bubble” in the garden off Santa for Christmas with a bed in😂

Not sure what is on your solo travel list but if you liked this you should add Vermont in USA there a lot of very cute secluded places to stay and the whole state is a lot of small towns (minus Burlington) and we have covered bridges!
In the countryside the lack of sounds makes the sounds you do hear sound a lot more daunting 😂 I understand why you felt apprehensive about it at night :))

I’ve moved to London for uni and I grew up in the countryside so whenever I’m back the silence is SO loud. Sometimes I can’t sleep when it’s super quiet bc I’ve got used to all the noise! I’m married with two kids.. but when I lived alone I became my own best friend and learnt to enjoy my own company whilst living alone.. so I completely understand how you have learnt to do that too and travel with your own company it’s awesome. Totally understandable that it was creepy, Mark….but, YOU GOT THROUGH IT! Woohoo! (with a little help from your friend). When you’re a horror movie fan, I think some experiences are bound to remind you of a horror movie scene…I don’t horror but, my husband does, and he gets creeped out at the most innocent of things😄.

Perhaps not the best place to go on your own... (in the middle of nowhere!) I'm not surprised you couldn't sleep. LOL! For some people on their own, this would be their idea of total bliss but I think you have to be a certain personality type to enjoy being on your own in that isolated environment! For me I would likely feel the way you did. Oh well, you live and learn!
