What a mind blowingly gorgeous property!! I am so in awe of this spectacular design!! Fabulous!! I am in Vancouver and I have visited Tofino many times. It's so breathtakingly beautiful! Great video!! Thanks so much!! 🙂
About 4 years ago I saw another property in Tofino come up for sale that was to die for. This property hits it out of the park 👍👍👍. They don’t come up for sale very often here in this location and I’m sure this one will sell fast. Great Review well executed 👍.
Jeff you nailed it! Apart from the breathtaking beauty of this residence, the scarcity of available properties in this vicinity further enhances its appeal.
Hey.... welcome to Canada!!! Great tour and property. I was a little surprised to see how close it was to the neighbour (that's how we spell that word here LOL). But aside from that... WOW!
Thanks! Given the limited space on such a renowned beach, the property boasts ample lot size. Close neighbors are inevitable as everyone seeks a slice of this heavenly spot.
nice place, great tour the whole place is made for someone who's friend's and family are totally into a no holds barred surfing lifestyle with extremely deep pockets, probably with another surf house in Hawaii or Nazare Portugal. very nice place
There are so many aspects of this house that leave me underwhelmed. It's not really a "surf mansion" so much as a "surf rental spot" for incredibly rich people. And even then, it's kind of weak. Start with accessibility. It's a $12.5M house with no elevator. Not even a chair lift. Bathrooms have no grab bars. Bedrooms have random stairs. Washer/Dryers are stacked? You have thousands of square feet and you're stacking washer dryers? The place has a bunch of fireplaces, which is actually useful in Tofino because the highway does close. But it doesn't appear to have any active cooling, nor any air circulation like an HRV. No solar panels, no backup battery, I didn't see a car charging port. No rainwater capture. It's like the place kind of tried to adjust for being remote, but didn't actually adjust for being remote. And then you've filled the place with windows that don't have blinds. You can see it everywhere. The master bedroom has blinds looking out to the ocean, but not to the patio? It's a $12.5M place, can you not afford to put blinds on every window? Did you spend the whole budget on the TV? Speaking of the TV, is that really all you have a for a media room? It's a drop-down TV that stares directly westward into the setting sun? At least you can close the... wait, there are no blinds behind the TV screen. And the screen is incredibly high, it's going to be like watching a movie from the front row, just staring up. Well at least it has a great 7.2 sound system to make up for the crummy viewing experience... oh wait, I don't see any speakers anywhere... Is that just a center channel on the screen? $12M and I can't get a real entertainment setup? There's just so much wrong with this place, I could make a longer video just highlighting the clear and weird deficiencies of this design and execution. And when you're asking $12.5M for a place, you expect better.
I spent part of my childhood living on Lennard Island lighthouse off of Chesterman Beach, how crazy would it be to live in that home across from the lighthouse. Beautiful home and I agree with @chilledpanther for such a modern home it has a surprisingly cozy feel. Subcribing now 👆
Sure the House is good, but for 12,5 m (idk if it's in amount of US or Canadian dollar) i think is neat price tag, can get bit more cheaper though... Tofino is a good town, but just not enough decent amenities other than nature scenery.
I love big homes but even if I had the money I would never Buy anything over 2500 sq ft because it’s a lot to keep your home clean. Don’t like strangers in our home like maids.
This property was sold for about 4.5 million just over 5 years ago. I've lived on Chesterman Beach for over 40 years and have to STR so I can afford to stay here; this is going to be another empty house among so many others in my neighbourhood.
Why the low pitched roofs? It is Canada where they get a ton of snow? Seems silly to me. You might need to own a window washing company as well. That salt spray gets everywhere.
Nice house, you missed a few details that could have been good to point out. Like the wall mount faucet, windows and doors (aluminum on the outside and wood on the inside that match the finish), the seamless finish around the opening and lots of the surface, the hidden blinds I guess they are electric?, is there in floor heat everywhere, do the heater run on gas or electric?. Who is the builder?
Thanks for watching! We prioritize highlighting the key features. While a 20-minute tour could easily extend into over an hour by delving into every single detail, we understand that most viewers won't have the patience to stick around for that long.
Gorgeous but the more I see, the flaws stick out. Two kitchens, two living rooms upstairs but only 1 bedroom....great hangout spaces and pockets. Wouldn't consider that side room a bedroom. The down the stairs into a cool reading pad... Into the bedroom with a tub right there onto the glass door. 😅😅😅
There is no way I would pay 12.8 million for this house It’s so small to be 12.8mil Compared to the US, 12.8mill you can get a house way bigger and more luxurious than this
@@Propertygrams well I see there isn’t a whole lot of high end properties for sale in Tofino according to Realtor…but someone has land asking for like $6M. So I’d like to think fair value for this home would be under $10M if we assume $3-5M on Land, then building costs which is probably extra because you’re on an island. But over $10M, I don’t think is going to see many buyers as most wealthy people would rather be closer to Vancouver, other parts of BC on land not an island.
@@LuxuryBeatsMusic You have some fair points. At the end of the day, the market will speak. The property is spectacular and if someone wants a hassle free move-in ready home on the beach.. They might pay that premium and set a new record in the area. Which is not unheard of 🙂
