I love the pages on your July Journal. That is just precious! I don't think I would recreate the journal. I don't think that the small dots on the bleed through would bother me seeing on how lovely the pages turned out. Maybe you can turn the little dots into anchors, sea-shells, sand buckets, etc.

I wouldn't replace it either. The pages are beautiful. Just consider it a lesson learned and go forth. Once you write in it, they may not bother you as much. You can always cover them with other stickers.

So true! I LOVE this journal but learned the pages are what matters. Hope I can find one as beautiful for my next one. Thanks for your advice.

The pages are so sweet! Personally, I would either keep the pages or rip them out and keep using the journal and redo them? But I guess it depends on if you want to/are able to buy a new journal (or you have one already that you can use) and also how much time and energy you have on redoing those pages! Haha 😅 I know I don't have the energy myself! ❤

Thanks so much Molly...yes it would bother me too which it what prompted me to ask, however another subscriber had the perfect solution in her comment...to tape pages together to use in this journal. Which doesn't bother me...it was very inexpensive so I will do that until it runs out and then pay attention to the page weight. Thanks for commenting!

I wouldn’t let it bother you. Even with the “flaws” it’s gorgeous. Also a little bit of ghosting from the ink isn’t bad. Also when you start writing in it, it’s not going to be as noticeable. Keep it. Use it. Love it !!! It’s so cute. What do you plan on writing in it?

Thanks so much. I use it as a document to remember the things that happened and went on through the month. Sometimes as a diary so to speak of just my daily life and sometimes I use a prompt to answer in it.

It would bother me and would probably start over but that’s just me. The pages are beautiful and maybe moving forward you could glue two pages together to combat the bleed threw.

Perfect solution Roxanne! I did not even think of that! I would use it up faster too...and that doesn't bother me it was very inexpensive. Learned my lesson though that pages matter over prettiness of the cover!

I would keep it and move forward as is. I would think you should be able to possibly cover the bleed through marks with turning it into a design or putting a sticker over it. I understand your frustration, but it's not worth the time to start over. IMHO ❤

In my opinion It would bother me at first. Then I would convince myself that I'm on a "learning my style journey" and will let it slide. The farther I get in the journal the more lessons of "what not to do" I will have to look back on in the future. just make memo notes for future journaling so you will know what it was that you didn't like and what you liked most. WORST CASE SCENERIO: just put stickers or glue in paper piecing memo spots to hide the misfortunes. :) you are a woman of many options.

Another subscriber gave me a perfect solution! To just tape the pages together! Perfect! I so don't think outside the box sometimes. And it was inexpensive enough that I don't mind doing that. Thanks so much for your thoughts.
