Well, that is what he tries to be. But no,not everyone. My husband and i never did.He was a rolloff truck driver out there . He mainly took construction debris to the dump. It was a full time job. And the amount of trucks going in and out of the dump was amazing. I worked landscaping. The funniest thing I learned doing that there was how many people spray their lawns with a green dye to make it look nice. The only place that stays green all year is the dump because they have to spray it down with water all the time because of the gases created by the layers of debris. The best thing I learned was planting ground covers that were drought resistant and used little water.
Never heard of him. Glad he is safe now. Just a lesson, that when they ask to evacuate, evacuate. First responders put their life on the line for people who decide to stay behind.
Everyday people did the same thing that this man did, taking a chance to save their property. They are breathing humans; perhaps the relentless "cancel culture" type of criticism can give it a f'n break. The comment section is shite.
Well said. Many men did this in this fire. One died with his hose in his hand (for real), another saved his house, most can't. It's a normal thing. Remember the terrible fires in Australia? Every time something like this happens there are some people who stay to try and save their houses, livestock, etc.
Something tells me I won't be the first to say this....but when you willfully disregard what you need to do and put yourself in danger intentionally, stop asking others to then come and possibly die to save you from yourself. Selfishness has no limits.
One coping strategy when faced with emergencies and trauma is to shut your emotions down and deal with them later. I'm seeing a lot of that with these disaster victims. It's not that they won't feel the pain. It's that right now, they are still kind of shocked and in survival mode.
Staying behind after an order for evacuation only serves to endanger first responders and rescue workers. Sorry, but NOT impressed by these people. They should have left when told to do so.

I would like to hear the stories from work class citizens and how they are going to survive after this. The Hollywood stars will be fine.
2:17 my Bentley wouldn't start! 😂
An average human would have perished, but actors are able to use their acting powers to deal with any situation 🇱🇷
😜💯
Compare their loss to homeless people whose camps are bulldozed & dumped by the city.
There is no comparison, sorry. 😢😭
28.6 years of difference between them totally normal
All those improv classes paying off.
LOL
Glad everyone is ok. So sorry for the loss of your piece of paradise
Remember actors are not profound geniuses. They make stupid mistakes like the rest of us. Money and accolades do not equate to having a modicum of common sense.
He's pretty smart ---- got himself on TV didn't he?
Wow. He was supposed to leave and you want us to care. CNN is hilarious
Stupid, selfish narcissistic people! Thank you for showing this interview of 'HOW NOT TO BEHAVE RIDICULOUSLY DURING A NATURAL DISASTER' A good training vid for 1st responders also... of the kind of self serving people 'NOT TO RISK YOUR OWN LIFE FOR'!!!
Absolutely Right.
Leave your house is not worth it .
Erm so a narcissist standing next a god dang ocean just had multiple people risk their lives to rescue him from a fire because?? and then have the gall to go boast about it on TV 🤦♂️
I have never heard of him before, and how incredibly stupid to ignore an evacuation order. I'm glad he's okay, but I can't say I'm sorry for him.
Looks EXACTLY like the footage of the people jumping in the water at Maui fires
I thought exactly the same, but apparently he is an actor and was looking for someone to jump into the water for him.
Except those people were doing what they should have been doing and evacuating. They didn't have a warning and time to do it when they should have. He did,so he put himself into his own situation.
Who is this bloke? I've never heard of him before.
Join the club. No one has. 🤷🏼♀️
Ah, Sebastian Harrison... That ol' breakfast table name. 🙄😂
I guess eveyone in los angeles calls themself an actor.
It depends where you are in Los Angeles. It is one of the worst career occupations.
everybody is acting to their own dramas, include you
@@kimsuncha nice grammar, borat.
@@Riannon_Bardsley nice grammar, fire brat
Well, that is what he tries to be. But no,not everyone. My husband and i never did.He was a rolloff truck driver out there . He mainly took construction debris to the dump. It was a full time job. And the amount of trucks going in and out of the dump was amazing. I worked landscaping. The funniest thing I learned doing that there was how many people spray their lawns with a green dye to make it look nice. The only place that stays green all year is the dump because they have to spray it down with water all the time because of the gases created by the layers of debris. The best thing I learned was planting ground covers that were drought resistant and used little water.
Remember if they say evacuate they mean evacuate 😢😢😢😢😢😮
you make decisions on your own home.
Why would you put yourself in harm's way nothing is more valuable than your life
B list evacuation for sure.
B? I thought it was Z list
rude
So this guy values money and material things more than life. That’s what it comes down to.
Has he seen the news or the FIRE raging in person? Unbelievable
Well, at least he knew what his motivation was
Hey media, how does electing not to evacuate when told 'nearly force' anyone into the ocean???
this is suppose to be a serious situation. however ,this all doesn`t seem quite real. It seems that people want attention.
One coping strategy when faced with emergencies and trauma is to shut your emotions down and deal with them later. I'm seeing a lot of that with these disaster victims. It's not that they won't feel the pain. It's that right now, they are still kind of shocked and in survival mode.
Good to see his daughter is there with him. Keeping the youngsters safe is so important.
CNN this is a ridiculous waste of time; don't care and should report actual news, not an ego trip
+ Fdjt
well written
He has time to record.. This is a entertainment and press opportunity for him.... while theres firefighters risking their lives.
Who is this guy?
Why are they interviewing him?
Anything for a soundbite!
It surprises me that this guy is the son of a veteran actor who made Clint Eastwood a star in "A Fistful of Dollars".
That's what happens when you ignore evacuation orders.
I thought that news girls chair was a beer pong cup, optical illusion.
It does look like that lol!
You know their is a fire its coming your way and you have been told to leave stop being selfish. You have millions to buy a new place
Who are they?
Both of them are actors. But that guy Sebastian, you should check the info on his father. It's a very interesting one.
Staying behind after an order for evacuation only serves to endanger first responders and rescue workers. Sorry, but NOT impressed by these people. They should have left when told to do so.
Law of nature; What you take from nature, nature always takes back.
That is actually not a law of nature, it's dumb RUclips comment
Yeah not nature, not even a Wildfire😢@@KelluyPowell-1985
Karma has struck hard USA.....how much money or weapons you have doesnt matter.....if you hurt others it will turn to you....remember hiroshima and nagasaki.....
Yes dear, cray Cray
WHO HE ?
As the presenter said in the beginning, He is "unfortunately, playing a starring role"
Sorry i dont feel for most of these celebrities. They have more than 2 or 3 homes or even 7 and lots of money. PLEASE STOP INTERVEIWING CELEBRITIES. Talk to the real people who have made these celebrities rich. Celebrities only come out when it effects them. Not all but most.
Why wait to evacuate
